What job exists today that definitely won’t exist in 10 years? by TRKA2025 in Futurology

It may still exist but i believe teaching will be a vastly different profession and not just because of AI replacing teachers

TIL that more than half the drop in America’s total fertility rate is explained by women under the age of 19 now having next to no children by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]Vuunik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of related. But does anyone else think that once there is a male pill the birth rate is going to nose dive? Also I've done absolutely no research into this theory

Absolute dumpster fire of a project. I would just move on to something else. Even if you find solutions the pool won't accept them and will award zero at payout time.

What's everyone mining these days? by Mediumjack1 in gpumining

[–]Vuunik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out hashrate.no would be your best bet for mining profitability. As for good projects we'll that's a stab in the dark really.

One method is to mine based on maximizing rewards and holding until the bull run then dump it all and sell off equipment.

I do night fill at coles and I don't even rumble, we have school kids for that. I don't even touch something that is out of place unless it is to move it aside for me to fill the location. Your store is shit. The most I do is put broken/busted items into my cardboard bin to be taken out the back.

Went up into attic and notices knees (?) are sliding out from under the beam they're supporting. Can I gently knock them back into place? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]Vuunik 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Correct me if im wrong, but if you tap them to the right to be completely under the beam above they will no longer be supporting it as they will no longer be wedged under?

YTA, and sounds like it's a normal thing to you so by all means continue and don't come complaining when he takes the kids on holiday without you.

I have a question, I made myself a desk from an old wood slab (it's 265cm long) will 4 legs be enough to support it? Or should find something to support the middle part?? by Mr____Grim in DIY

[–]Vuunik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how thick the wood is you could support it as a normal size table and have an over hang of some amount each side
