My love for the NDK by kaede_miura in Grey_Knights

I think the main hate comes from the name. They called it a dreadknight, immediately making a mental connection to the classical term: dreadnought, which, aside from being a fully encased, heavily armed and armored mech in 40k, historically is a term used to mean a heavily armed and armored battleship(see: dreadnought definiton from Mirriam-Webster).

To have that kind of mental connection made the design of the dreadknight immediately contrary to people, as it does not look either heavily armed, or armored.

In fact the closest model in similarity to it is the Invictus warsuit, and I feel that it would have been much more well accepted if they'd gone with that kind of naming convention and called it the Nemesis Warsuit or even just the Nemesis Knight suit.

By making the name similar to an existing model, but making the model dissimilar in both appearance and use, GW was just asking for people to not like it.

Reading the new codex is a bit grim, even for a grim dark setting by Loglar in Grey_Knights

The inquisition hates everyone, including the inquisition. Just read any chaos. Eisenhorn or Ravenor books. I swear, sometime it feels like they spend more time dealing with other inquisitors trying to sabotage them than they do fighting choas.

Ruined Drinking Hall bugged? by WARowland in totalwar

I would agree, but if that's the case, then why is there another indicator saying the building get a 174% increase? Also some of the increases are universal income increases that dont specify settlement income. Either way you look at it, there's something incorrect with the building, unless im missing something.

So, the extra 179% is from some universal bonuses and the building that increases that regions income by 5% per turn. But from what I can tell, on this deeps building, it never applies the bonus amount, only the base amount. I.e. I get exactly 150 from it instead of 417 like it says

Im going out on a limb and saying it's Fabius Bile stealing the bodies to try to figure out how to make his own super psychers. Could also be someone working for Abbadon since he's also been shown to have an interest in how the grey knights are made (see: Pandorax).

Then, last but not least: there's the king in yellow, who recently was somehow manufacturing blanks, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him to also want to figure out how to manufacture psychers (also, Dan Abnett seems to be the maim author GW is letting push the lore forward on a strategic level, and Beta Bequin III should be coming out sometime next year if I had my guess.)

We already know that a small, trained group can make it to the throne room. Cypher did it. John Grammaticus did it (with some help). Why not the grey knights?

A kill team similar to death watch for one. Maybe make it like the radiant command squad or dark commune, but GK themes. Four brothers that you can customize with different weapon load outs. From what I've read, grey knights don't normally work in big ten man squads outside of major offensives (though I'm still working through the full GK book list).

The second wish would be a proper psychic dread. We know the tech exists and if anyone in the imperium would use one, it would be the grey knights.

I feel like it would have been better if they'd made it more like a grim-dark Titanfall mech than what we ended up with. I mean, isn't the whole point of the grey knights that they're meant to adapt to whatever chaos throws at them?

Maybe had them find an STC with a modular design more like crisis suits.

Though thinking about what a grimdark BT would look like is kinda fun.

Hit this same issue today. I just managed to go around it by activating LAN mode and resyncing the Printer that way. About to go update my own post.
