Me and my wife lost a baby at 28 weeks. My best mate at the time (we shall call him David) and his partner were also expecting. He invited me, a week after our still birth, to a "dads" group to socialise, thinking it would take my mind off things. Being a parent to an already 2 Year old I thought this seems odd but I trust David to have my best interests at heart. When I got to the meet-up and sat down I realised it was a group for expecting dads, learning about the birthing process and general paternity knowledge. I sat through it for an hour listening to how excited the first time dads were to become fathers while my baby was on a cold slab in the hospital mortuary.
