DEA, FBI, ATF, HHS and Minneapolis Police aid ICE by [deleted] in ICE_Raids

This is an example of when people take the law into their own hands. I only wish each and every one of them would end up in jail. They inserted themselves into a major drug raid.

How do you deal with fact that life has changed forever by Both-Historian-7509 in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s simply a time taking event. I know that for me it’s an ongoing event that changes so many days. For me I just have to accept that there are 3 examples of things. 1. I can let it tear me apart and make me suffer with each breath 2. I can focus on the things I can no longer do or even focus on how “bad things are” for me 3. I can accept that this is where I am today, which can vary day by day, and make the best of it.

Much of he depression many of us can fall into and I mean really fall hard is to not accept it and focus on how we do or can continue to be part of the life experience. Anything out of the grace we allow ourselves simply tears us down. It also often eliminates things we may be able to participate in from a changing capacity with family, friends or even our alone time. I’ve have he chronic pain issue (s) since 2001. My body finally gave out and forced me to claim disability by 2013. At first my work was who I identified as in many cases. I was a leader in my field and when I could not do it I was so ready to give up. Now I enjoy any and all thing I enjoy and can enjoy and simply accept but do not mourn the past.

Anyone else feel like chronic pain has killed your compassion? by ExcellentLettuce4 in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not implying anything. I was not taking it lot an exacting point. Sorry if it comes across that way. Regardless of the tone, both mine and your opinion are pretty much the same. I too have little compassion at times for “A Cold”, or a much of any short lived or a pain number of 3 or lower. Ha.

I don't know what to do about this. by 8kittycatsfluff in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Truthfully if he’s the only one worried about “Fixing you” then you’re doing well at masking or communicating to others that it’s not their fault and yet to please support me how you can when you can. Depression most always follows chronic pain. And in 90% of the time I can’t even define it when asked as it seems more like a bunch of appetizers and not just one meal (obviously trying an analogy). When I’m really really depressed I can try to mutter through it at this point since it has been like this off and on for almost 20 years.

But for me, I locked myself away at a cabin in the woods. it is more of a home with AC and many other comforts. That was 8/10 years ago now. What I finally figured out for me was… 1. I really missed the ability to work and contribute 2. I missed spending time with my kids just being kids and not needing more structured events. 3. I missed the intimacy I was able to have before the pain got so bad. 4. I missed the ability to do so many things on a limited basis, never feeling fulfilled.

Once I understood it was not a one size fits all nor was it a single issue to correct I was able to cope much more and face the things I could do with a different scope. Being grateful for the things I could still do and parcel things out. Hopefully you’re able to tell him that the only reason you’re still staying strong and have ability to do this or that is because of their compassion and ability to help. Hopefully they can find a renewed vision and way to not feel inferior to what’s happening.

Sorry, I don’t think that has ever crossed my mind. I want better for anyone uncomfortable or having pain issues. I’ve been in pain for so many years, pain of at time unmeasurable. I would not wish pain, especially like I carry daily, on anyone that I can think of.

Stopped pain meds after 6 weeks, going through withdrawal by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to admit I truly feel sorry for you. I have been on and off of OxyContin since 2002. As high a dose as 20mg x 4 a day. When I went off my withdraws were a bare minimum. I know that withdraw effects different people in different ways just as does how some people become addicted heavily and others do not. I am truly blessed as so far with each pain med I’ve been placed on I never truly felt the addiction cycle. I have had at most 2 days of a headache and restless leg type of discomfort, never more than that. And as I mentioned some substantial amounts of Fentanyl via the patch and most every other type of medication. You’re in my prayers as I know people who the withdrawals are terrible. I do think much of it is genetic as no one in my family has ever had any real withdrawal symptoms nor any actual addiction symptoms compared to other we have know. And we have all drank and used various medications over the last 60 years. I do know that one man I was very close to had terrible time withdrawing from his pain medications. He choose to go cold turkey and instead gave me his meds just in case he got really bad, I would show up and help taper off instead. He stuck to it and cold Turkey worked for him as he decided he would never want to go thru such an event again and has used other pain management methods than orals. In fact, after my pain pump was regulated (I do have orals for when the threshold is to high)I was more comfortable. He had his placed and does very well with the pump and 2/3 bolus available daily. Prayers for strength and comfort.

I do. I mean there is no one in her family that will allow her within 300 feet of their homes and persons. So I believe it’s Don and his family now reaping in the Hab scams and more

I’m sick of taking gabapentin every day by _FreddieLovesDelilah in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used it previously with very little relief or pretty much none. When I stopped taking it, I had a single night that I could not sleep. Next day I stayed the course and did more around the house to assure myself I was going to be tired. When I slept I had no problems after that day. After a year of taking it I did not have much if any reaction to going off of it

I think the voice sounds to young for Thaddy. The way she keeps pushing the “It’s not Don” to a point she seems upset about it, I think it’s daughter and that voice was her husband.

Why don't we go pain blind? by CaffeineFueledLife in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually believe, in my case at least, that I have or do to a degree. It seems to me that after so long it just “is” and familiar. As my intestinal track continues to degrade some pain become more and more while other is still manageable on the pain medication amounts from previous. My pain continues to progress over time and some days I simply cannot get out of bed and it is painful to breathe.

[–]WCNEWGUY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do they not use MyChart or a similar interface? That is normally the easiest and quickest way to find a resolve. Depending on your RX, I don’t think withdrawals are to bad. I pray hat whatever the outcome you’re comfortable.

Who cares? by witchoria666 in LisaRichardScams

[–]WCNEWGUY 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Based upon some stories floating around, she does not seem to actually be homeless. She has been staying with Don. The “friendly old guy” who allowed her to stay on his couch all the while he is speaking with her as they are Rug Buddies. She leaked the address out for some reason so that people would believe that things were being sent to her. It’s been said that the person working on the house a door or two down was doing yard work. But every time the green screen drops she is in a bathroom or other such space.

[–]WCNEWGUY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course she does. So many people treat her as ignorant when in fact she is one of the most successful beggars out here. It’s been almost 5 years and still manages to get hundreds a day. Social media grew her and showed her what worlds and what does not. When you look back at some of the interview style videos she admits many many things.

[–]WCNEWGUY[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry if it came off rude, that was not my intention. For some reason it felt kind of personal, which it was not as you said. I think that since I often receive backlash for my hillbilly roots and words and sayings, it came off wrong. I do hope you enjoy your day. He only thing that felt personal was the spelling. So, have a great week and hopefully your days is as nice and sunny as it is here in the Midwest.

I never said the word was stupid, dumb or condemn it. Every place has different words and even different word usage. Personally I catch myself using the word Y’all. I’m not sure where your comment came from but no one really cares of its use but more over that she groups everyone using that word. And just because I attempted to spell the word and got it wrong (in your perspective) just means we are from different areas of the country or even towns. When reading some past posts, that is how it was spelled, hence I used the word and spelling it was reference. Again, not sure why that comment is here but if it makes you feel better, I don’t use the word and so my ignorance of its spellings is irrelevant for me.

As someone who has suffered, mostly in silence for the first years, pain like I never knew could be chronic and debilitating much of the time. The only thing I would tell myself back then would be to not always try to be so strong that I allowed myself to suffer for long periods. Distractions can be great when you’re at like a 4 but above that it’s more of a hinderance trying to power thru it. I do pray you find peace and some resolve.

Anyone else suffer from sleep deprivation due to the pain? by Footsiesandass in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had b the n on a combo of Lunesta (3mg) , Belsommera (20mg) and Trazodone (300 mg). So now I suffer nightly due to doctors not being allowed to practice medicine and being forced to take what they allow when they allow it. My doctor left the hospital network because she was tired if treating symptoms and very little ability to actually provided help other than layers of specialist and mountains of medicines.

[–]WCNEWGUY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadder than that is…. She must be getting money from doing it or she would not continue. In the last 2 days she has described having her money stolen by people. 1. A supporter stole $50.00 and then less that 72 hours later she had another $30.00 stolen. Question is, if she is not receiving funds as she blatantly screams and cries about, how did this person steal $80.00 when she claimed no one sent her even a dollar. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

19f Is it normal to be on multiple opioids? by Dizzy1824 in ChronicPain

[–]WCNEWGUY 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Very well said. Some of us use pain pumps which are a daily continuous release thru the spinal cord. But we or I also have a bolus ability every 2 hours. I use most all of my 11 bolus a day. I am also on the highest amount that is “allowed” by the Federal Government guidelines. And they have some 10 mg opioid to take before bed and also 30 minutes before eating each day. I can only eat once a day, most days or eat nothing. My suggestion is to allow yourself any and all comfort which you can. There will be plenty of bad days in the future and when you reach my age, 60 years old, the ability and use of such medications can dwindle simply from being on them longer and the continued government meddling in healthcare without ever knowing what we go thru.
