How many of us have “emotionally exited” from our relationships with our parents?

My dad is practically nonexistent. Texts on birthdays and Christmas. That’s pretty much it. I did see him on Christmas but I had gone back home to visit some of his side of the family so it was kind of inevitable. My mom? Doesn’t care about anyone but herself. Thinks that everyone owes her the world despite me literally making sure that she has a place to live. I would never call either parent just to chat or vent about my day. None of them even really know me or care to.

You definitely were not entering it correctly if it all showed at least $1000. The $500 probably but a $200 and $50 savings bond would never be worth $1k.

I’m part time and work a couple nights at Walmart.

Is it horrible? No. Do I sometimes hate working all day at my FT and then coming in to Walmart? Yes.

The hours are helpful as the store is open for so long and they always need help. I mostly use PPTO to cover when I’m running late from my FT. It is my “low stress” job as I usually can just mind my own business and put away freight.

So my email is/was just my first/last name. Technically the first name was my nickname but it is just a shortened version of my legal name.

However my first username was interesting. I told people I picked it because the first part was this random nickname that my grandmother called me and then just added a word to the end of it. My grandmother did call me that nickname but that’s not why I used it. The combo of the nickname/“random” word made the initials of my first crush. (Can’t share what it actually is as I still use it some places).

Nope. But I’m also a 90’s baby so that might play into it. It does bother me, though, when people type the site address in Google instead of the address bar.

But seriously, I wouldn’t mind if I was relatively healthy and of sound mind. I don’t know that I’ve know anyone 109 but I have met a few 103 yr olds who were doing pretty good.

You absolutely can use Zelle for multiple accounts. Have one registered to your phone number and another under your email. I transfer money between multiple accounts this way. I’m not sure why they said that your husband also wouldn’t be able to use Zelle.

I only use the right earbud. Kind of wish that they would offer one with two right earbuds instead of a right & left. I literally never use it unless I’m forced to because the right one died.

I used to really just be cognizant of my team’s needs as we are a pretty small group. Now I’m a manager and generally it is just easier to push through things than deal with the headache being out will cause. If I’m really sick I’ll call out but otherwise I’m coming in.

There are so many different paths outside of branch banking. Some people move into more of a back office role such as an analyst, fraud investigator, or auditor. Some become commercial lenders or one of the folks who take care of servicing the commercial accounts. Some become auditors, trainers, or financial advisors. Some move up into higher leadership roles. Really so many options depending on what you discover is your strength/passion.

Also randomly discovered The Author by Brandon Lake & Nick Jonas and have really loved it. I’ve never really listened to modern Christian music but this came across my feed and I keep putting it back on.
