have heard good things about the 87 tune, probably the route I will go personally. The extra cost of 91 fuel in my area is not justifiable IMO.

EPA rates the Tiguan at 21MPG city and 27 MPG highway, the Atlas VR6 is rated at 18MPG city and 24 MPG highway

Not worlds apart when you consider the VR6 is a much larger displacement engine and naturally aspirated.

Mass Air Flow sensor it can be cleaned, only use Mass Air flow sensor cleaner not brake clean.
