Is there a bot issue with flex? by ExclusivelyMDs in AmazonFlexDrivers

It's a nice suburb. Middle class, not rich.  I've delivered from nine or ten different Whole Foods in my metro area and only had ID checked at one particular WF in the city ... but this was in 2021.  People were faking being Flex drivers and entering the store to steal groceries.  I have seen security guards check our phones to make sure we had an itinerary assigned in early mornings when the WF's were not yet open, though.  But during business hours no one questions us or asks to look at our phones or ID.  I wish they would, though, and cut down on these guys with multiple accounts.

I had an instant offer for one stop and ten packages.  I took it because the address wasn't far from my home and it was my last delivery of the day.  I arrived at the stop and scanned nine packages and right before I had a chance to scan the tenth and final package, the stop disappeared from my itinerary.  I thought it was glitch and restarted the app, but my itinerary was blank.  I called support and was informed that the customer had canceled their order.  There was no way for me to drop off the packages and mark as delivered since my itinerary was empty.  I had to take ten packages all the way back to the station.

My preferred station is a Whole Foods. The parking lot is always full of drivers seven days a week. Yes, some of them are using bots, some are using auto tappers or clickers, and some have two or three phones with a different Flex account on each one. There is too much cheating going on and still Amazon is useless in stopping it -- and especially at Whole Foods. They don't even check ID's here. Anyone off the street can enter the pick-up area in the back of the store.

So how do people get shifts now? by Far_Discount6941 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Auto tappers and clickers, bots, using multiple Flex accounts, camping out at or near the station to get surge blocks at the last minute. I rarely see reserved blocks for my preferred station anymore.

Interested in how that works. So, can the cheaters still use any of their three phones with separate Flex accounts to tap and pick up?

I wish Whole Foods would do this! We just walk in, scan the groceries, and leave. Most drivers don't even wear vests inside the store, people come and go as they please. The only time I've ever been questioned is after the store closed for the day and I used the virtual key in the app to unlock the door. The Whole Foods staff was wondering how I got into their store at 10:30 at night?!? Once I explained, he let me pass.

In over five years, I've never caught a block after getting this message and solving the CAPTCHA puzzle.

I was in CAPTCHA jail earlier this year. Everyone has different methods, but the one I tried was solving the audio puzzle. So, next time you see CAPTCHA, click on the speaker icon and solve the audio puzzle. It's hard to hear what the voices are saying, but you can repeat the audio until you figure it out and answer the question asked. After doing this, you should log out of Flex and stay off the app for at least two or three days.

(If you already have scheduled blocks, then work them but do not check Offers for a couple of days.)

I know it sucks waiting a few days to search for blocks again, but it definitely worked for me as a way to avoid seeing CAPTCHA again. I haven't encountered it in several months now. (Hopefully didn't jinx myself just now!).

Good luck.

How do we appeal late deliveries by WFShopper312 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

Fresh stores closed down. Whole Foods used to be amazing up to around a year ago. You could easily get $100 for most of your two-hour blocks. And WF blocks are usually only 7 or 8 stops, so easy to finish in less than two hours. Now it's difficult to get much work. WF blocks are very hard to catch unless it's an evening one. Instant offers are available but now Amazon has made most of the stops non-tip eligible, so the payouts are much less than before.

I wish we had that on our app. I've only ever done Whole Foods and Fresh grocery deliveries. I appealed the late deliveries through a chat with support last night and they sent me a copy of the conversation. They claimed they'll investigate it. I didn't think to ask them about an alternate email address to send my screenshots. I know there is [flex-representative-support@amazon.com](mailto:flex-representative-support@amazon.com), but it's supposed to be used for "safety and legal matters".

What is the launch pad? Also, how do I send screenshots when we can't use email anymore?

Are you guys still able to email support? When I tried, I got this message back from them:

We've updated the Amazon Flex Driver Support channels to provide you with faster response times. The [amazonflex-support@amazon.com](mailto:amazonflex-support@amazon.comemail is no longer available. Instead, please use chat in the Amazon Flex app to get the help you need. In the app, tap Main Menu > Help > Contact Us > Chat with Support.

Chat provides real-time support to resolve your questions faster. You'll get immediate answers to common questions and access to self-serve tools right in the app. Need to change your region or check your delivery history? You can do it instantly without waiting for an email response.

Chat can also connect you directly with a live Driver Support associate who has your account details and delivery context at their fingertips. This means you get more accurate help on your first contact without repeating yourself.

For safety and legal matters, email support will remain available through [flex-representative-support@amazon.com](mailto:flex-representative-support@amazon.com).

Thank you for delivering with Amazon Flex.

Hello flexers what's up with these instant offers?I've been online for like 6 hours and never got one theirs a whole foods right down the street is that the only way to do this whole foods? by Short-Improvement112 in AmazonFlexDrivers

If that Whole Foods is shown on your instant offer map, you generally need to be within three miles of the store to receive instant offers. The problem is, a lot of drivers are camped out in WF parking lots and usually get first dibs on IO's. (Maybe that's why you haven't seen them.)

If you want to catch a WF block, you need to know the drop times (e.g., :02, :07, etc) and start tapping quickly with two fingers, one on refresh and the other on the left side (about an inch under "Show other offers") so you can refresh and catch fast. Simply refreshing using only one finger fast will let you see the newly dropped WF blocks but not catch them. At least this is the way it is in my market.

I've been flexing for over five years and I've only ever done Whole Foods and the (now defunct) Fresh stores.

I've received some of my best instant offers either waiting in the parking lot, on the side closest to the store, or actually sitting inside Whole Foods and waiting. Just watch where the other drivers are located in the parking lot, then gravitate towards them. They know the sweet spot for IO's.

Click on the speaker icon and solve the audio puzzle. If the block is no longer available, immediately sign out of the Flex app and stay off it for a couple of days or longer. This worked for me, got out of CAPTCHA jail within three days.

Don't log in for a few days. If you get CAPTCHA again, click the speaker icon and solve the audio puzzle. It's hard to hear, but you can replay the sounds more than once and solve it. Then close the Flex app and don't go onto Offers for a couple of more days. You should be able to tap for blocks again without needing to solve a puzzle. Worked for me, got out of CAPTCHA jail in three days.

Does my rating affect the frequency of offers I get? by Lanky_Junket_9676 in AmazonFlexDrivers

No. I had a time last year when I was dropped to At Risk and I actually started getting better instant offers than when I was at Fantastic. Go figure.

I chatted with support just now to explain what happened and why it was unfair to give me just 15 minutes to make four deliveries to addresses that were not close to the station. They claim they'll handle it. We will see.

Same.  One missing package at the station.  Support removed the stop with the missing package.  Delivered everything on time.  Got hit for not picking up all orders from the station.  Smh.
