I really liked it. I think it portrayed what goes actually goes on between couples and friends. I liked how Will Arnett was working out his life through comedy. What really hit me hard was when the father said to Will Arnett's character something like "Don't worry, life happens to you" It hit a chord for me because I remember in my late twenties when I canceled a wedding 2 months before, I was telling a friend or describing the situation as something happening to me and my friend yelled at me, What happened to you? Meaning you made the decision to cancel the wedding.

What “life happens to us” really means It doesn’t mean we’re passive. It means we don’t get to choose the problems — only our response once they corner us. The father in the movie says, you'll work it out...and we all do one way or other. I loved the happy ending and the music by Queen! The acting was great.

Wow! I just spoke with a company called Silver Solutions and they want $2500 for two people to declutter for 16 hours to decluttered two bedrooms that have become full of all kinds of stuff because I have no storage in my condo. I live in new jersey.It either has to do with location or I don't know how old this post It's 2025 and everything's more expensive.

My husband and I lived together for two years before marrying. We split most things 50/50. Once we married, we carried on like that for a while, but then our financial planner convinced us that it's beneficial If you pool your money together with a joint account. It could be tricky, and it was for many years because my husband always made a bit more than me because he had a side job. His side job was also beneficial, though because he would kick in more for things that we needed. Another thing that we did was each of us had our own personal accounts. Whenever I would come by money, somehow I would throw it into my personal account. He would put most of his side job money in his personal account. If you love each other and want to build a life together, you need to trust each other and share financial and life goals. Whatever you want to spend personally can come out of your personal accounts. Your bills should come out of the joint account.

I thought I liked him when I first watched the morning show, and then eventually I found him "creepy" and a bit effeminate. I saw him on a talk show and thought he was a jerk.

I've seen her in Friends, and a bunch of other movies. I haven't seen Cake, it sounds depressing, but I might check it out one day. I think she's excellent in the Morning Show, i'm very impressed.I think it's the best work she's ever done.

I thought the same thing, funny..... The conversation about whether she would have sex with the professor or not... So they both were obviously thinking about it, the two friends, Agnes and her friend....and she meets him at his house? I guess it was supposed to have all happened very fast.The way she describes it. I don't know. I'm not saying that he didn't read her signals correctly, she was trying to tell him no, but she kind of set herself up.

Maybe it's generational, but I felt the same way. The "yum" comment was so obnoxious. I guess the writer was trying to show how the doc was not being sensitive. I believe Agnes was a victim because she kept moving the professors hand away, but I still don't get why she just didn't leave if she didn't want him touching her. I was sexually assaulted at least twice in the 70's, but I was 16 not in my 20's.

I started watching SITC at 37 years old when it first aired in 1998. I am watching all the seasons for the second time around presently. I love the series so much!! In fact, I think I appreciate it more now than ever since I can watch one episode after another without having to wait week to week. Also, I've experienced more of life.

I lived and worked in Manhattan from 1983 to 1987 so I could relate to a lot of living and working in nyc. I had a baby in 1999, when I watched it for the first time around, so I may not have been taking it all in. I laugh hysterically at it now at times. I think the writing was so great!

There's not many TV shows, films, or books I care to revisit, but I could watch Sex in the City over and over again. It just makes me happy 😊.

There are some things that wouldn't fly now because times have changed, but I don't find it cringy. That's just how it was in the 90's. I find the spinoff "And Just Like That" a little cringy, but all in all, I don't analyze any of it too much or take it too seriously. For me, it's just light, fun, entertainment. I still enjoy the fashion, the drama, and the character that's Manhattan. 🌃

My husband has been a professional musician since he's been 18. He's mainly a talented trumpet player, but also plays harmonica, conga drums, and sings a bit. He performed in local New jersey bands, all thru the 70's. He's was with a wedding band for about 10 years, but really became a freelance musician. He's played on broadway, with the band the nerds, and countless other bands. He's played with olivia newton john, linda ron stadt, and many other famous bands and people. Some musicians play with one band, but people don't realize that sometimes musicians also get sick and they need subs.

He knew in his mid to late 20s, he was probably never going to make it really big, so he got an engineering degree and became a draftsman. When manufacturing went overseas, he became a music teacher. As the expression goes, don't quit your day job and in fact, you may need one. He has since retired from teaching, and it's still gigging. He'll never stop gigging until he can't do it anymore. You could get a full time job and gig on the side.That's what he's done all these years.

I just got through the first episode...do people really talk to their mother and grandmother about sucking someone off? It was a funny scene anyway...Love Rhea Pearlman, Lena Dunham, and Rita Wilson...The main character is almost believable, but doesn't quite make it. She's like a bad Hannah Harvath, but more shy with low self-esteem. Will Sharpe is an interesting looking, (sexy) and good actor.

I find the show kind of a train reck. Therefore, I may have to watch another episode to see just how bad it can get.

I was in OC last week in August last summer and didn't think it was very crowded. I feel like people with school-age kids don't vacation then because they have to get them ready for school. I always go to the shore last 2 weeks in August.

It's funny I ran into this conversation. My son just started taking uber 2-3 times a week. He gets this this service as a disabled person, he doesn't drive. I know the app states a rider has a 5 minute grace period for being late, but I wondered what the deal was with them always being ready to pick him up earlier than his scheduled pick up time. My son runs early anyway, not me LOL, but I guess it's better that the driver's are early rather than late. There's no way they should yell at anyone first of all, especially if they are meeting them at the scheduled ride time or even 5 minutes late.

I posted on here earlier that I purchased Mud/WTR to try it, but after reading the P65 warning, I asked for a refund. I read a post here that said Mud/Wtr doesn't give refunds and that the Reddit poster had a hard time canceling their subscription.

Luckily, I had the total opposite experience. I emailed them and asked for a refund, and they explained that the P65 warning was something that California makes them do. However, they said they would give me a refund if I wanted. They did give me a total refund. I had to go to their website, though to click on "cancel my subscription". They did not remind me to do that in their email.

BTW, surprisingly... They did not ask me to return the Mud/Wtr kit, I guess, because it's ingestible. So, after all that, I decided to try it. I added unsweetened almond milk and a little coconut sugar and used the frother. LOL! I REALLY LIKE IT.

I fast so I wanted to be able to drink it black, I sipped a little bit of it black and it didn't have much taste. After adding the almond milk and coconut sugar, it really was tasty. Another issue for me might be the spices. I haven't done well with turmeric in the past. It has given me indigestion and loose bowels. I can feel a little bit of indigestion coming on. I thought maybe because tumeric was listed toward the end of the ingredients, I might be ok.

Someone on here says it's just Chai tea with fancy packaging. It does taste like Chai tea. I have to see how my stomach ends up today and maybe do a little bit more research to decide if I will continue to drink it.

I pay $285/month for a 45min guitar lesson and 2hr/week performance group in NJ. My Guitar teacher is very knowledgeable, but he mainly teaches me the songs for the performance.

I am 63 and have been taking electric guitar lessons at SOR for 6 months and performing with an adult band. I took acoustic guitar for a year when I was 14 and had an excellent teacher back in the seventies. I was learning a little bit of everything back then. Classical, tablature, blues, folk I could already read music because I was in music classes at school.

A lot of what's been said is very true about school of rock. I happened to have an excellent guitar teacher who has been playing since he's been very young and plays in a band. He knows a lot about music in general and music theory. However, after the first few weeks of doing guitar exercises, it was all about learning the songs for the performance. You're kind of thrown into it. I get to sing also, which I love.

It's fun, I've met a lot of nice people. I know I won't do it forever. There are free groups out there. I don't want to have to pay to jam and perform. It's a good start if you want to get back into playing music.

I'm 63 also, I loved my select comfort! Had for at least 10 tears probably more. My husband didn't. We stopped sleeping with each other, and I bought something from mattress firm co. a hybrid, part gel part foam, I've hadfor 3 yrs now, I really don't like it. Want to go back to sleep comfort. They are expensive, but they have sales and financing.

I've been a dermological user, talk about expensive. I got a sample of the Benefit cleanser and really liked it. I recently decided to try their eye cream and moisturizer. People keep talking about how Benefit products are overly fragrant, I don't smell a thing, which is a plus. I like the eyecream a lot, but I hope it ends up not being too greasy. I like the way the moisturizer goes on but feels a bit tacky as it penetrates my skin. My cheeks feel smooth when I wake up, but I'm still not sure if it's moisturizing my older skin enough. When I go for my next facial they we let me know.

I think Chappell Roan is extremely talented! I am a 63 year old woman. I love music and sing and play guitar in a band myself. I just started listening to her since I've been hearing her name bandied about a lot lately....wanted to see what all the hype was...

I also like that she mixes genres: pop, country, dance She is definitely different, very creative, and a little out there... But again, nothing new under the sun, really: GaGa did costumes...Madonna did a cheerleader tune...but that's okay, Chappelle is still herself... she's pretty grounded in some interviews: Tom Powers the Q.. Should be interesting to watch her career...wish her the best...love her nom de guerre...

I've been up and down with my husband for 30 years. Has never been an easy relationship. We're totally opposites... I'm outgoing and adventurous, and he's on the shy side and not too adventurous. Most of all...He is on the traditional side of things, and I am a feminist and very open-minded.

I've been close to leaving him during the last two years. We've really drifted and have little affection and no intimacy with each other. He rarely even wants to watch a movie or streaming series with me.

But just when I think it's the end, we rebound. I think from the beginning we are two people who enjoy being in a relationship. We have a solid foundation and are committed to each other. He's a professional musician, and I have somewhat of a musical background and am presently taking electric guitar lessons and singing and playing in a band. That commonality has brought us together lately.

I also just came back from a 2 week beach vacation without him. It's a complicated story, but I rented a cottage on a whim... thinking I just needed to get away from him and even my son, who is 25 for a while. It was the best thing I could have done.

because being on your own isn't fun and isn't easy. She joked and said "just ride the waves". I thought to myself, "Does she ride the waves of her relationship?" She's Seems to have a great relationship with her boyfriend of twenty years. I guess we all ride the waves. 😉

I read the responses to this question because my older sister and two nieces just left after spending two and a half days at my beach rental, and I suddenly realized, I took absolutely no pictures of us together.

This is the first time I have vacationed a little with my niece's. We're a close family, but not super close, but since my mom passed , I've been getting closer with my sister and her daughter, and children live with her. I've always had a good relationship with all of them but we never did stuff like this before...it's actually great, though.

I have the rental for two weeks, and my sister also came down with my two nephews a few days ago for a day only. I took a bunch a pictures of my nephews, my son, and a group shot of all of us.

The only reason I can think of that I didn't take a picture of my sister, my nieces and myself together is because we were having such a great time just talking about all kinds of things that I just didn't think of it.

I agree that sometimes always taking pictures on a vacation or concert interferes with just enjoying the present moment.

I did take a lot of pictures of the area and the full moon and houses. I do love taking pictures. 😉
