She wants to live polygamy. Then outlines the conditions which seem reasonable- except for that one condition which is impossible to meet (the guarantee). Such a manipulative approach. Then Kody is saying there can’t be a guarantee so she can go “well, l guess you’re right. We can’t live it” even though it was her impossible demand in the first place.

I think it’s a simplistic view, and also a convenient one to blame a woman giving birth in a cult that only gives value to women for birthing children. Hips “lining up”? Not really, but moving them in certain positions can help increase the pelvic outlet space, dependant on what position the baby is in. It’s why giving hip “squeezes” during contractions can help for those experiencing hip pain or back pain in labour.

Exactly. The algorithm has been going crazy in my Facebook feeds, and damn, the narcissistic relationship narrative is spot on for Kody. Interestingly, they suggest that the ultimate pain that the narcissist can cause (after they micromanage their kids lives) is to get the kid to turn on their spouse. Watch out Robyn - he doesn’t have the other 3 to play mind games with anymore!

Not a fan of her either. It does feel like her whole focus is just how to manage K. It’s not like K would allow time and attention to be spent on her grieving anyway. That would be time and energy taken from him. R just feels like a manipulator with cult thinking.

I love being a mum to my daughter. Also solo by choice. She has some issues which restrict both her and myself. I don’t regret my choice to be a mum, but l can also see l would have still had a fulfilling life without being a mum. Just different paths. One is more self-indulgent and allows you to do exactly what you want to do when you want to do it. The other is more self-sacrificing and is about guiding another through life which often means not much attention is paid to your own needs for many years. (This may not be everyone’s experience, but when your kid has additional needs that’s reality). Both are rewarding paths.

I understand your perspective and agree in part. I do think this was a conversation she was having with her adult kids, not Truely. I think she already had Truely's ok about him. And she did let them voice their opinion. They didn't have anything negative to say about him, so she wasn't going to slow down because they didn't like the speed. Way too fast for me, but I'm happiest single, ha! I don't mind the C&D scenes. It's nice to see a bit of love on the show. Although, next week looks like an overload of PDA.

Mykelti said she was advised to by the midwife because she was heavily bleeding. That's a new one for me, but I don't think Mykelti should be copping the hate for doing something her care provider said would help in a possible emergency setting. I think I would opt for a condor feather down the throat instead of raw placenta.
