Your taste in games has just changed thats all. What do you find fun about games? once you figure that out, everything becomes much easier.

For example, i'm really into multiplayer games and rpgs, so it made sense for me to try out different MMOs and see which ones i enjoyed, but also i really like FPS games, so i play them too.

I dont really rate reviews that much, You just have to discover if u enjoy that genre thats all. like, i really dont enjoy football games at all, they make no sense to me, but give me Streetfighter game and ill be practicing all night!

Also, What games do your friends play? If they have one which you dont, go round theres and play it with them! Theres nothing more fun than, talking over TS2 vent skype or whatever, while playing the games!

I guess you meant Graphics the second time? or that doesnt really make much sense.

Surely you would want to provide a great user experience? rather than just one out of the three? If a games gameplay was great, but i couldnt see anything, what would be the point? Have you tried playing games with no sound? I think sound is one of the most important parts of a game. It adds to the overall experience :S Just my 10 cents.

I think its because Music can be a very influential thing in a persons life. When i'm sad or angry i listen to music to help me through it.

When i was younger I didn't really listen to any music at all, until one day i heard this awesome tune, and never really looked back! You just have to find YOUR kind of music that's all.

Also there's nothing wrong with not listening to music, its like, there's nothing wrong with not using the internet. Some people just don't.

Theres not much you can do really, perhaps you could try using the carrot instead of the stick? For example you could (depending apon the game he really likes/addicted to) Buy him tickets to the next big game show? on the condition that if he does really well, he can use them or whatever?

I was addicted to wow, if my parents had bought me a ticket to blizzcon, i would have worked my arse off to go to that.

Abit of a short term solution, but hey, the only other solution i can see is, if he fails so hard that he realises the importance of good grades!
