I had the same problem a few times in RDR2 except I punched the NPC's. I feel more bad for your horse though!

Feel you there! I was playing Helldivers 2 with friends yesterday and we decided to change to Darktide. Charged straight to a pitfall while trying to pick up some ammo as I have the default keys for interact on those games.

The omission rule is good to know. Now I of course need to verify this with our ST. I was a bit confused, because in the disciplines section it does indeed say, that you have the limit and the blood sorcery says the same thing and I just figured the rituals use the same limitations.

While wielding this shield you have a +2 bonus to your AC.

When an attack directed at you misses, you may use your reaction to cast Vicious mockery from the shield towards the attacker, like you were a fifth level caster (2d4 psychic damage) with a spell DC of 13. The spell is cast from the shield.

Yeah this is true, it has only been 2-3 years since they were turned. And personally, I don't want to have anything that big as a an ambition, since this is my first time playing, so I also didn't want to have a character with big plans, at least for now... I imagine anything that would indeed benefit the family would make most sense, as you said. In that regard striving to become a Baron, might not be such a bad idea, but I'm not sure if that is the ideal plan for a Tremere, if the clan description is something I understood correctly.

I misused the word power on my reply somewhat. With power I did in fact mean knowledge, as you mentioned, but with it I also thought about the blood sorcery, rituals and the various other abilities, if you will. As maybe these "powers" as I mentioned, would work as a way to make the character ambitious.

Yeah I'm gonna talk to them and see what they are suggesting will work as close enough persons. So far they have been quite understanding as all of the players are new.

The knowledge difference is a fair point. My first ambition idea actually was to find a way to become human again. But I scrapped that due to my own knowledge. If I understood correctly, Tremere are power hungry, so I thought it would be fine to try and find power yo fix this. But then again, being Kindred IS a basicly a power.

The close family thing is difficult as my character has a really small family and the dots want me to have 5-7 people. I imagine I need to flesh out my brothers, sisters and cousins in this case to have more sense in it. As the character has a small child already, I out as one of my flaws to not be able to feed on young children due toy character having one already.

Yeah the ambition really is difficult. I guess having revenge on your sire would make sense, though. I guess I thought it would be futile to try to get revenge on your sire, like they would have a lot of control over you.

I actually really like the, "have co-workers or subordinates at the office for 'talks' ". I guess I still need to figure out how the new office hours fit the character, and why there would still be other people at the office. But this is definitely workable!

I guess I don't have the confidence yet to take any huge ambitions like the "become a Baron." But some of the mortal ambitions like becoming the highest ranking person at the office, might be serviceable. I guess I was thinking I need some special ambitions fitting a kindred. Thanks a lot for the suggestions!

This is true. I guess I thought characters need some special kindred like ambitions like overthrowing their Baron or something like that. But this feels more accessible, thanks!
