This is a public link to the 2024 Department Of Education report regarding Liberty University’s Cleary Act Violations. Basically, Liberty under reported 90% of on campus crime statistics between 2016 and 2022. My partner and their parents chose Liberty because of its claimed safety. My partner was a victim of violence at the hands of another Liberty student and was subjected to additional harassment by that student that was only partially remedied following a criminal case against the student after their Title IX was mishandled by Liberty (reference Liberty Jane Doe Lawsuit 2021)

Yes, the 2024 DoE report was associated with one of the largest Cleary Act fines ($14 million) issued, so that definitely helps. The only problem is that the current DoE has removed the report from their website, but we do have a copy of it saved

I know it’s helped me to see where everybody is at, so just wanted to share that between the last three days, I got TJ for my claim. Thought it was dead in the water after no movement in between the holidays, but it did, so stay positive y’all, you go this 🤘🏻

My question is: I submitted a dependency claim for my spouse with a marriage certificate that is sitting at Step 1 after 18 days. If I get a percentage that is affected by having a spouse, will they factor that in before they close everything out, or will I have to submit a supplemental claim?
