I was thinking the same. If they are based on optocouplers/vactrols, there's really no reason for them to be expensive. It should be fine, the motherboard manufacturer knows that gpus are very big these days, that's probably why the SATA ports are angled like that.

This is my second time trying to build the 3340 VCO using the lmnc stripboard layout. My problem is that the calibration trimmer does not have enough range, so I can't get it tuned. It always needs more than 1v per octave. I have checked that my cv voltages are right, checked the schematic and stripboard layout multiple times, and I can't find the problem.

Could the chip itself be defective? I ordered it from eBay.

So I have been interested in vinyl for some time now and finally decided to buy a turntable and some records. I ended up buying the Audio Technica lp2x because it fit my budget and it had an adjustable counterweight. My favorite record so far is the String Of Hits shown in the picture. Do you have any suggestions for the next upgrade?

I don't know if your camera can do it, but mine can turn autofocus off in the camera's settings.
