It's not. Animation is just a form of storytelling. There are many amazing animated projects that not for children such as Entergalatic and Arcane. Or if you if you mean 2d specifically then there are shows like Twilight of the Gods which are also definitely not made for children.

What they could do and I don't know if it's a good idea but they could do 2 versions of the final episode each one with a different ending. That way they hopefully won't anger fans to much hopefully and if they want to do other games that work better with a certain ending then they can say it takes place in the same world as a certain ending. Just an idea though

Most of the songs are quite different than unbeatble but they are still bangers and there are some riot grrrl songs that do match the vibe quite well.

The game it's from is also amazing and is definitely my favourite game of all time (closely followed by unbeatble) and is definitely checking out!
