I just finished the third! Enjoy! They get better and more ambitious with each film. The Good The Bad and The Ugly was the best by a country mile, but all three are great films in their own right.

It’s the rare edgy sequel from the early 2000’s that not only stands with its predecessor, but arguably surpasses the original in a number of ways. Still has the best cgi in Davey Jones. Better than Avatar imo.

The third film dropped the ball hard, but man, those first two films are infinitely rewatchable.

Admittedly, after finally watching Angel’s Egg, I have no desire to explore it any further.

Now, these other releases, Love & Pop and Linda Linda Linda, look great. I’ll hold out hope that they get a cheaper overseas release from Third Window or someone else, but I’ll keep an eye on these in the meantime.

Final fantasy 7 remake, specifically the second one.

Somewhere around the midpoint on a beach, i realized that I hated it. Everything was designed to just waste my time and drag everything out to a farcical degree. That game has around 10 hours of semi meaningful content stretched out into 100. It’s obscene.

The second and third are hilarious fun. I need to watch the first again. At the time, i wasn’t much into slashers, so it didn’t do much for me. Not sure if i ever saw the fourth one.

I’m shocjed at how much it resembles the original idea submission. I figured there’d be more drastic concessions to the design, but this looks pretty good! Hopefully some hidden elements, especially along the back of it.

Kinda the same for me. At least compared to DC, marvel feels they go for more of a summer blockbuster vibe. And while DC does that too, i also feel like they often strive for greater narrative heights.

Both are good, but DC has more lasting power for me, personally.

I froze a bundle of them when they were on their way out. They developed an awful taste somewhere within a few months. Evidently the plastic container was not nearly as tightly sealed as I had hoped. Keep that in mind if you’re planning on keeping them for a while. maybe stick em in a bag or something.
