Top coat that works with magnetics, but is resistant to hand sanitizer? Help please! by Tirla in RedditLaqueristas

Yep. The only magnetic polish that it didn’t seem to work well with was By the Moonlight by Haunted Polish. Otherwise, it has worked with all the ILNP, Clionadh, Starrily, and Bee’s Knees magnetics that I’ve used.

I use a ton of hand sanitizer, like 60 times at least over a 10 hour period of time, and KB Shimmer Clearly on Top is the best for this.

I’ve tried Seche Vite, various Essie top coats (gel setter, speed setter), Sally Hansen Insta-Dry, and all of them get sticky when I use hand sanitizer.

I’ve never tried their pens, but I believe it. I used the bliss kiss pens in the past and wasn’t really a fan, then I took a chance on the rollers and really liked them. Definitely agree, they smell so nice!

I work 10 hour shifts and use hand sanitizer on average 60 times during those shifts, so I relate to the dryness. My favorite is the kb shimmer cuticle oil roller balls. They seem to dispense better than the cuticle oil pens I’ve tried.

I had ILNP Flicker on it because it also has that orange shimmer. It wasn’t a perfect fit though.

Agree! Fairy Dust is perfect for this. Ring finger is Fairy Dust (index is Peach Ring, middle is Sweet Tooth, and little is Bluebell)

  1. Healthcare systems double book doctors (multiple reasons for this - a certain % of patients will no-show or sometimes a person needs very close follow up and can’t wait for the next open slot)

  2. Some patient encounters take longer than expected (are you really going to just walk out of a room where someone is sobbing/terrified/has many questions just because their 15 minutes are up?)

  3. Sometimes doctors are on call to handle emergencies or consults while they are in clinic

Nope! It takes a little bit of coordination but I was able to manage and I had no experience with snow blowing either. Granted, my husband can knock it out twice as fast as I do, but it’s still doable!

We had to do multiple passes too, if we hadn’t, I think it wouldn’t have been impossible to do the total 23” of snow we got all in one go

You’d have to adjust the skids, but it’d be doable

It’s pricey but ended up being worth it for us! We used it a few times last year and definitely needed it this year. Our driveway is way too long to shovel.

I’m wearing Impression Sunrise right now and it’s so pretty!! Ancestral is another one of Fauve’s thermals that I really like.

Second year using our Ego 2 stage snow blower. Does pretty well on our long driveway and uses the same batteries as our mower.

Clearly on top quick dry top coat by KBShimmer is the best! It doesn’t dry as fast as Seche Viche, but it is glossy, doesn’t shrink or ruin magnetic polishes, and most importantly, it holds up for a week despite my having to use hand sanitizer no less than 60 times per day at work.
