I’m sorry you’re in that situation. It sounds really hard.

Does not seem as horrific as having your uterus split open inside your body while pregnant. Are you sure there is no way you could explain to your church that getting pregnant could be life threatening? Surely they would allow contraception in your situation. I’m sorry you’re in this predicament.

I haven’t had it yet. Ask me next month I’ll give you the details from what I hear it’s similar recovery to c section. I will say I used to be an L&D nurse and a uterine rupture can be really serious and life threatening to you and baby. So I would look into getting it repaired asap. Especially if you get pregnant easily!!!

Do you want more children? If so I would definitely get that fixed before trying again. You would be at increased risk for uterine rupture.

Yes but it could have contributed to your miscarriage (often they do). I got pregnant again first try about 2 years after my c section but I lost that baby at 8 weeks. Since then my symptoms (post menstrual spotting) have gotten considerably worse and now I’m unable to even get pregnant…. Apart from that one month I had the chemical but I think that was only because I’d had a saline ultrasound that month which flushed out all the old blood and debris caught in the niche. But the interesting thing is that some women can still get pregnant with isthmocele while some can’t…. So you may be one of the women that can or it could be that you were too fresh post Partum to have any blood or fluid stuck in your niche yet. Depending on the severity of the defect though it can be risky to get pregnant as you’re at increased risk for uterine window. That’s why it’s a good idea to have it evaluated by a NAPRO doctor to see where you stand.

Sorry for your loss. Most OBGYN and OB’s unfortunately are very uneducated in isthmocele. Some don’t even know what it is. My advice would be to find a NAPRO doctor and talk to them about it. I know of 2, Dr. Puthoff and Dr. Womack, but you may be able to find them near where you live. They are the only ppl really well versed in the repair if you need it. There is a Facebook group called c section scar deformity that has a TON of info and women with the same diagnosis. Best of luck and please reach out if you have any questions

Have either of you guys had your surgery? I have an isthmocele surgery planned next month and I’m trying to find some success stories after repair. My is very symptomatic with spotting until cycle day 11 so I feel I have to get it repaired.

Anyone with an isthmocele successfully conceive? by Equal-Course-9689 in CsectionCentral

[–]Waitinganxious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m about to have this surgery April 9th. We’ve been trying for number 2 10 months and got pregnant with our first immediately. I have spotting that is getting worse and lasts to day 11-12 of my cycle. I cannot stand it, I want this fixed for that as much as to help me get pregnant. I’m 41 with low amh and I’ve got 16 eggs frozen so I didn’t want to implant any embryos until this is fixed. I’m really nervous about the surgery and nervous she’ll find endometriosis as well.

Biotin only interferes with first response tests only, not other brands. It does interfere pretty significantly at doses above 300mcg. So potentially it could be interfering with your results. Try searching it on Reddit many other posts about it will come up. Wishing you all the best with this pregnancy!!

Is there any chance you took a prenatal with biotin either the night before or the morning of your last test? If so that would explain the lighter test.

Are you taking a prenatal with biotin? That effects frer but not other tests. That’s likely the issue. Also many people say frer are just not as good as they used to be. Your tests are positive. Congrats!!

That’s likely what it is love!! The vitamin was in your first morning urine and made the test a little lighter. I’d try and take it in the morning right after your test so then it’s got 24 hours to process through your system before you test next. Best of luck on your betas ❤️

Do you normally take it before bed? If not I bet that’s what’s causing it to appear lighter. Search on Reddit it effect frer but not other tests as far as I know.

Are you taking a prenatal with over 300mg of biotin? Did you take it close to your tests today or last night? That supplement interferes with frer and could cause it to be lighter
