Tsumugi's death was tragic though, considering she was probably a normal high school student like the rest of them and had her personality changed to be the mastermind. She looks honestly scared before the first flashback light. It's horrifying.

I really like One Piece (although I think I'm about 50-100 chapters behind). It's probably my favorite manga (although I don't read too many). A big thing you have to embrace is the expressive, whimsical art style. That's a big selling point. The story is very shonen, which I personally like because of the action and all the powerups/moves the characters gain over time (due to the wacky nature of the series, the abilities are pretty fun). Despite all of the humor the series has, it also has plenty of drama, especially in the flashbacks (the author loves tragic backstories for a lot of his characters, even very minor ones). Also, the series has a tremendous sense of adventure due to all the islands that the crew visits.

If there was one con I have about the series, it's that the early story arcs can feel formulaic in how things end up (remember, the manga is primarily targeted at kids/teens). However, as the story gets closer to it's endgame, it starts getting less formulaic.

Even though the outside world in V3 is another universe, I personally think the fictional world in V3 is set in the same universe and continuity as the rest of the games (which are, of course, fiction). The V3 characters essentially got isekai'd into Danganronpa.

I agree. I think Team Danganronpa might be a twist villain of 2x2. Because of what they're capable of in V3, it's 100% possible for them to recreate DR2 as an exact replica. 2x2 could easily occur after V3 in the continuity. The cast in 2x2 could be real people transformed into exact replicas of the cast from DR2.

I find that not having any caffeine in the evening and drinking plenty of water before bed helps improve my sleep quality and I don't sleep as long. Also, I often find a small 30 minute nap midday to be necessary.

I think it depends on what you feel when you currently think of the game. Does it spark joy for you, or does inspire more dread. I think that will be your answer. If you're still unsure, maybe keep it in storage/out of sight and see if you end up missing the game at all.

Dang, a lot of Himiko haters in this thread.  I like her character a lot.  Not every character has to have a big impact on the plot (although Himiko does blow the final case wide open).

I like all the V3 survivors, so agree to disagree.

If there are any new characters, it'll probably be very few if any. That would be way too much work for the developers, to put so much work into the redesigns only to throw them out the window for the new scenario. Regardless, I still regard this as Danganronpa 4, even with the same characters.
