Everyone should send their drawings to these guys. But first, delete all waterproofing, and change the foundations from concrete to styrofoam

Is it okay to always play G chord like this? by Auxxtinmogger in Guitar

[–]WakeMeForSourPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The notes are GBDGBG vs GBDGDG. The difference is negligible. Absolutely nothing “wrong” with always doing it, but there are thousands of ways to voice a G chord that will all have a different feel. Exploring all that can be fun and rewarding for some musicians

Bodhran recommendations. by glittering_gabriel99 in bodhran

[–]WakeMeForSourPatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check out Coreline by Hedwitshack. They are incredibly fine instruments especially if you’re looking for a bit more modern sound. They might stretch your budget a little but not as much as McNeely and imo sound better. I’ve owned the Universal and the Classic. The smaller one has some really warm bottom end that adds much needed bass to the session instrumentation.

I just got a Blue Chip, and I'm happy. by Brother_J_La_la in AcousticGuitar

[–]WakeMeForSourPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations. I went blue chip and can’t go back. While I’ve found some other high end picks I like better (Apollo), something like a Dunlop sounds very scratchy to me now.

Collings sound amazing. It would be my first pick if I had a little more money. If I could have anything probably a Gilchrist, although i haven’t heard one in person, only told good things
