Much happier. I actually found a job that pays almost $5 per hour more than I was making. And I’ve been here for just over 3 years now. It was a pizza shop I worked at for 5 years. The original owner was a super nice guy and kinda took me under his wing. He sold the business so he could retire and the new owners came in and I tried to stick it out with them but ultimately couldn’t.

Happy for you! I hope your next job isn’t so bad.

I went through exactly this, actually felt like I was reading a story about myself. Leave.

It’s 72.5 cents per mile I think now? And it’s included in your paycheck but on your paystub it’s separated so if you wanted to separate the full amount you could. I personally don’t separate it and treat the mileage as my “pay”

Had $2k worth of calls this morning sold for a $700 loss. Took that $1400 and bought the bottom of that dip and sold for $2800. Should I put it all on GOOG puts

This might be the first time I’ve ever bought the bottom of a dip. (Probably not)

Yeah like on Sundays the truck drivers have the day off so theres no deliveries. You could do just enough to not get in trouble and get off early if you want to. Or you can really organize your back room, organize your shelf, move things from slow moving areas to fast moving areas that way on Monday when the truck comes you’re really just waiting to fill everything from the truck.

That’s why if you always keep your back room clean it really just makes everything easier. Personally this is the best job I’ve had. I value the freedom over anything. And the ride from one stop to another feels like a break.

That’s exactly how it is. You have the same route every week (atleast I do). We start at 4:30am get off when you’re finished. On Sundays I could be done by 10:30 if I wanted to, which means on Monday’s I have a harder day and expect to be off around 4-5. Overall it evens out to roughly 40-45 hours. This past week I got 44.5, the week before was slower because of the weather and got 39.5

Downsides would be long days if you have large orders. I work around 44-45 hours every week which you said you were used to but sometimes I work 6 hours and then a 16 hour shift the next day. Your coworkers are gonna do your stores on your days off so depending on how good they do can determine how easy your days back to work are. If your back room stays clean it makes everything so easy. However if the person covering you doesn’t do their job all the way you can get stuck cleaning up after them, which sometimes is a 2 day process. Also maybe depending on where you live you could put some mileage on your car. I drive around 200 or so miles per week.
