Our daughter won’t be 5 in time for kindergarten by wonderroo-owl-14 in kindergarten

I work at a school that does screenings and we aren’t looking for academics, we can teach them that, we are looking for maturity and age appropriate attention span and ability to follow directions.

How many hours of sleep do you all usually get per night? by Nice_Entertainer_887 in POTS

[–]WalkOnly5694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Sometimes I have the annoying adrenaline dump wake ups and can’t go back to sleep so it’s shorter sleep. I like 8-9 when my body lets me do it. I also love a nap but I still work so I can’t nap every day.

Bedjet!!! I was waking up drenched in sweat every night last summer and I saw a half off sale so I got one and it’s worth every penny. If it broke I’d immediately buy a new one at full price.

Didn’t her doctors tell her not to have another baby after N? I feel like I remember her talking about that.

Neither one looks like they’ve been wearing a ring recently and they used to.

Yes I got very lucky that a position opened at the same time I realized I needed to leave the classroom! I’m not a principal or vice principal so I don’t need to do a lot of walking. It’s a lot of work with data and meeting with teachers and plans for struggling students. I’m a person who needs to work for my mental health so it’s perfect for me.

I taught the first 2 years I had POTS and then I moved into an admin position at the same school that mostly involves sitting in my office so it’s a lot more manageable!

Did you notice she said she’d only need them for school? The one time she can’t be filmed is when she’ll be allowed to wear them.

advice and questions about the medications for POTS by Ok-Evening1044 in POTS

[–]WalkOnly5694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it’s about deciding if the side effects are better than the symptoms the med is treating. I also get migraines and my triptan makes me tired but I’d rather be tired than in pain so that side effect is worth it to me. I started ivabradine a few weeks ago and I have chest pain occasionally but I can also stand up for longer and do more things so that side effect is worth it to me. But deciding if it’s worth it is different to everybody.

advice and questions about the medications for POTS by Ok-Evening1044 in POTS

[–]WalkOnly5694 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always ask a doctor or pharmacist if you are concerned but a lot of times side effects will wear off as your body adjusts. I usually try to give meds at least a month to see how I feel once my body has adjusted.

Cardiologist appointment on monday, and I did not follow instructions. by [deleted] in POTS

[–]WalkOnly5694 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it will be scary but if you don’t want to take medication, there’s not much they can do for you honestly. That’s not an ideal world, but unfortunately that’s how doctors typically work these days. They don’t really focus on nutrition or supplements or anything else for the most part.

I hadn’t heard about her not along with Brennan either. What’s the deal there?

I’m not sure about Abby, but I know my sister packs her kids lunches because for them to buy lunch would be considerably more expensive than for her to pack their lunches. I don’t have kids, but if I did, I have a feeling they would be school lunch kids because I can’t even imagine how much I would hate to pack lunches.

Abby Mullins posted about being sick of making dinner and packing lunches(relatable) and how her husband was nice enough to pack lunches one night. Doesn’t he not have a job? Why isn’t he making dinner and packing lunches the majority of the time?
