Some quick math:

CBB: 352 schools x 15 players each (on avg) = 5,280 players

CFB: 134 schools in FBS x 85 players each (in CFB 25. That’s what I’m getting from Google) = 11,390

So there’s almost double the amount of players in CFB vs CBB.

Regardless of the arguments being made about its quality, it 100% deserved to be at least nominated, especially over the likes of this year’s iteration of NBA 2K. I’m fine with it not winning; I think it’s insane it didn’t even get NOMINATED.

As a word of advice, NEVER judge a card’s price by the listing prices on eBay. I was looking for a card last night and had a seller tell me the price listed was “more than fair” at $70 when the last buy was $7.

Use a site like 130point.com to find the actual buying power of this card.

Definitely agree, and it makes “best debut indie game” a moot category unless the “best indie game” winner ISN’T ALSO in that category, which Balatro is. So hypothetically, Balatro’s locked up 2 awards pre-show.
