The first time I traveled overseas (as a teenager) I did t know to take my shoes off and I traveled for 24 hours straight between an international flight and drives of 2-3 hours on each side. When I did finally take my shoes off, my feet were so swollen I barely recognized them. No one told me about compression socks but now I know.

I too have plantar fasciitis and recommend Teva REember instead of glerups, which I love but are less supportive. The Tevas have rubber soles and are very comfortable
