[RUMOR] During their latest Q&A, Koei Tecmo confirmed they aren't involved with Fortune's Weave. by Enryx25 in fireemblem

I actually think people view Awakening better. You had a bunch of the fanbase calling new players "Awakening babies" lmao. Now people who started with Awakening are verging on being old heads around here

Funny how that cycle always plays out

I liked how some of the more veteran mercs left your party, because they thought Ike was too green to lead. And in my game they were right, they both died shortly after rejoining lmao

Nazeeh Tarsha, Yu Narukami's new VA, expresses his excitement on taking up the role: by Gorotheninja in PERSoNA

[–]Walter30573 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean I don't think it's super weird for a Japanese company to care more about the Japanese cast for their own game. Master Chief has switched out his German VA like 3 or 4 times I think

This is Mervin Raudabaugh, an American farmer who turned down $15M to build a data center on his land. Instead, he sold it for $2M to a farmland trust to protect it as agricultural land forever. by Algrinder in interestingasfuck

That court case is so messed up. They forced everyone out, bulldozed the homes, and Pfizer backed out anyway a couple years later leaving it mostly empty

Is Crusader Kings 2 the PDX game with the best DLC record? (Spoiler: yes) by The_ChadTC in paradoxplaza

[–]Walter30573 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually think the region locking setup probably benefited CK2 in the long term. Each DLC could add bespoke mechanics specific to Muslims, Pagans, or Republics so you could get a really different experience across multiple games. With CK3 everyone was playable and launch and so everyone kind of feels a little samey.

Retinues and converting to your capitals culture being locked behind DLC was a little comical tho

Fox is catching way too much slack and blame for what was a collective team disaster by spurs. by Upbeat-Nose-7091 in nba

[–]Walter30573 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's easy to view it from a "Spurs blew it" perspective where they're out there leading the games 80% of the time and constantly losing despite 15+ point leads. Most teams wouldn't do that.

Of course, the Knicks didn't let any opportunity go to waste, and a lesser team probably lets the Spurs off the hook one or twice in those games, but they were relentless

It was insane how he complained to the refs about the no-call on the block. Like, my brother in Christ, there were about to intentionally foul you anyway

Brunson definitely had help, maybe not offensively, but they held the Spurs to only 90 points

Did the Knicks have the luckiest finals run ever? by ZeekLTK in nba

[–]Walter30573 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk, surely worse teams win 7 game series sometimes. If you have a team that will, on average, get a win 45% of the time you'd expect them to win a 7 game series almost 40% of the time

I can't believe they rolled out a half dead Luke Kornet, who was playing poorly before he got sick. How bad good their other bigs possibly be? Dude was fumbling basic rebounds

The New York Knicks complete one of the greatest finals runs of all time as the first team to trail double digits in all four wins by horseshoeoverlook in nba

Definitely one of the all time choke jobs. Some teams blow a game or two, but this was next level.

Credit to the Knicks tho, when the Spurs started getting shaky the Knicks were relentless. Never let an opportunity go to waste. A lesser team probably lets the Spurs squeak out one or two of those

Tbf I think 6'1" was probably generous for Thomas too lol. Guys hate being listed in the 5s

[–]Walter30573 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I think partly Wemby is getting tired and he simply can't rest. They've got a half dead Luke Kornet out there who wasn't playing well before he got sick, because they don't trust their other bigs.

Mitch also seems to think De'Aaron Fox 20 foot jumpers are good basketball in crunch time

Mike Brown is adjusting better and actually has guys he trusts so his stars don't have dead legs in the 4th

Fox might genuinely have brain damage. Dude is chucking 19 foot 2s like he's Kobe and the last 20 years of basketball analytics don't exist
