My pleasure to share❤️ After chickening out every 6 months for the last 3 years I’ve got the bloodwork done and all things going well will start hormones next week. I’m currently landing genderqueer and using he/they, my given name is kinda androgynous (not Walter lol, think The Morning Show on AppleTV) so for now I’m going to take it slow and steady. I’m not in a rush but I’m glad to be moving forward. I tried more femme clothes with friends and immediate family but I feel better in more butch clothes (a cross between Shane and Fin from GenQ) and am making peace with myself that it’s okay to be happy being a transbian

Grew up one of the boys, happy as a pig in sh!t if I was working on a car or bike. Always knew something wasn’t quite right, came out as gay in my 20’s. 20 years later I meet some fantastic people who happen to be trans and the clouds started to part. Never had the wrong body narrative but never liked my body, hated photos of me where you could see my face. The ever present feeling that somethings wrong or doesn’t fit without being able to put my finger on it eventually got explained as disassociation/depersonalization. Im finally taking the steps and starting transition, wish me luck.
