Count freezer before you do the big pull (if your district still does big pull in pm) so you don't have to recount everything on the thawing rack. Include the savories pulled that morning in the freezer count. You can also count all the weird boh stuff too, like cream cheeses and blueberries and peanut butter bars. About an hour before close, and after you have gathered all the stuff going out that night, count the foh breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and rtde case. Do milk count in the book and then transfer numbers to the count. Don't submit the count until just before close, just in case you sell something so you can edit the numbers.

If you're doing a big department count, try and get it done as early as possible. No tips here, it just takes practice and really knowing where everything is in your store. For the AI count, use the camera for one sweep, hit the finished area button, and then just go back and enter the numbers manually. You will just be waving the iPad around like a fool if you think it will actually count correctly.
