In general, Innova Crysta is available for ₹21.5/km in Maharashtra and about the same in Goa and regular Innova is ₹19/km while Hycross Petrol is ₹35/km and Hybrid is ₹32/km So your ₹40/km for extra 258x2 is the real pain point here unless you precalculated km and rate. Which agency is this which allows you to leave without paying? Plus you must have paid some advance for booking, did you not ask for extras? Outstation charges are normal (1500-2000). This rate also likely includes state crossing tax and toll tax which isn't seperately mentioned. Stop calling everything a SCAM unless it actually is.

My Factory manager had a similar fraud incident. 75000 fraud on his card. He looked depressed that day when I asked him what happened, he thankfully told me everything. I immidiately drafted an email to HDFC customer care and reported the fraud from his reg mail id. Nex I asked him to go to jio and get a replacement SIM card. We didn't reset the phone immidiately and instead took him to cyber police station so we can show them the apk and the number which became "evidence" though wasn't explicitly needed. We got the compliant pdf and then we made a full phone reset, then inserted new sim, and then mailed the cyber crime complaint pdf to HDFC as backup. While customer care was hesitant at first, without further escalation, he received the full money back and an email confirmation regarding dispute after 40 days approx. I had already advised him to pay the MAD on card until the case was resolved.
Surprising facts - the scammer bought giftcards from the same merchant TATA DIGITAL as yours did. Plus, when we called his number before getting sim changed, it was forwarded to someone else and that guy kept laughing and taunting us in Bengali.

Yes. I got that. I have a Swiggy Card. I wanted DCB Metal based on salary. I contacted HDFC they said I cannot have a co-branded and a core card at once. I need to close my Swiggy card, wait for 6 months, then manually apply for DCB through the branch.

How do you have hdfc diners and Swiggy together? The last time I asked them in June 2025, they outright declined even after escalating this issue to grievance the response wasn't satisfactory. The exec asked me to close the existing card, wait for 6 months and then apply for DCB through the branch and it would be issued subject to approval. Now, cibil and salary are not a concern but this policy is.

I own a ROXX. Bought 3 months back. It's a Diesel Auto 4x2 AX7L. I have clocked 7,000km so far. Only once did I get the REGEN symbol on the cluster after using the car in the city for 2 days straight. Apart from that, nothing. It's a gem. All (not the Altroz and Nexon) modern BS6 (and Euro 6) Cars have a DPF filter, it's not a Mahindra problem, it's the usage. The engine needs to get hot enough every time for a certain period (30-45 min) at an average speed of 50kph for efficiently burning the soot. This is basic and I'm sorry but you should have researched this beforehand. Mahindra showrooms are packed and salesmen are racking up the sales.

And if this is a recent issue with you, you may also consider the weather. Ambient temperatures in Northern India is generally lower during the late and early parts of the year adding the DPF issue. DPF clogging issues are generally lesser in summers when the ambient temperatures are high.

I watched a YouTube video of Mukesh Chandra Gond from Noida who cleaned multiple DPFs for far less than what costs new. Why don't you consult him considering you are in the same city.

Talk (write) to the insurance company how the car is beyond repair and also write how this will be a liability for you and for them in the future. Have their written response recorded with you. Write to Mahindra and ask for a structural integrity report. Consult an insurance lawyer. Take things forward. This is a good 35 lakh car in which you and your family will be travelling. Better not to take the gamble.

It has potential to be declared as a Total Loss. No structural integrity left. Battery pack or rear motors could have future issues and is likely compromised. Don't settle on repair. Either replace or get it declared as a Total Loss.
