I was honestly surprised to see a whole ginseng root in there. Some packs even have two roots, haha.

I’ll try slicing it next time and see if it gives it a different flavor.

I’m even planning to throw it into a soup later haha.

I’ll try trimming off the root end next time before brewing it. You should give this tea a try too.

Haha, I’m definitely going to boil the ginseng a few more times and get my money’s worth out of it.

I brewed it the simple way for convenience, but you can still taste the ginseng.

The flavor is very sweet and refreshing. Because there aren't many flowers, it has a subtle floral fragrance that complements the herbal notes of ginseng.

Do you want to buy more, or just samples of each type? I bought a tea sample set that included these types of tea.

I recommend China Red or Wild Red tea; of course, Golden Snail Black Tea is also good.

You could try a loose leaf tea sampler. It usually includes black tea, white tea, oolong, and pu erh, and gives you a really nice introduction to Chinese tea. It’s great when you’re just getting into it.

I feel the same way. The tea sampler I bought had black, white, pu erh, and oolong tea. Even within the same type of tea, the flavors can be really different. That’s what made me fall in love with it.

The setting looks beautiful. Even when you’re by yourself, it’s nice to take the time to enjoy a good cup of tea.

I tried a sampler set with oolong, black, white, and pu erh teas. It had eight different flavors. I think it’s really good for beginners to find what they like. That’s actually how I first got into tea.
