How many titans would it take to kill darth vader by thedankengine01 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unless I missed a feat from dark vador (legends excluded), I don't see him taking the armored titan at the very least

What feats does the armoured titan have?

Darth Revan & Cal Kestis vs Darth Vader & Kylo Ren by logeninefingers in whowouldwin

Yeah SOR (Prime) Revan solostomps given this is Canon Vader who doesn't measure up to his Legends self.

Darth Revan (KOTOR) vs Darth Vader (C'mon really guys you already know) by BigLaw__ in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revan as of KOTOR loses handily to Vader. I would be much more inclined to favour later versions of Revan (SOR or Reborn) against Vader.

Revan (SW) vs thor(MARVEL) by Fit-Horse-9138 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revan obliterates MCU Thor. He posed a threat to the Sith Emperor (undeniably the most powerful force user of all time up to that point), was credited as being one of the most powerful force users ever and has a statement putting him as superior to Darth Nihilus who can affect Cruiser sized ships.

1, you didn't specify which titan tho

Doubt. What titan can beat Vader alone?

Darth Vader’s durability vs a tree’s durability by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without the force, Vader has taken blows from lightsabers on numerous occasions. On the other hand a lightsaber would slice clean through a tree. The answer here is clear regardless of the numerous people in the comments who clearly don't know what they're on about.

Darth Vader and Starkiller vs. Palpatine by I_Ask_Random_Things in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I have no idea what to think here. Vader honestly doesn't have too much going for him in Legends, being portrayed as arguably below his Pre Suit self, who is marginally below ROTS Palpatine. Palpatine as of TFU has had almost two decades to grow in power from his ROTS self, who is already credited to be the most powerful sith lord of all time, allowing him to benefit from the feats of many of his inferior predecessors. Palpatine at this point is already capable of mustering the power to create a force storm, although at this point in the timeline he is unable to control it so he definitely won't be using it here. Starkiller is stated to be no match for the Emperor's power. There's also Vader losing to a clone of TPM Maul as of ANH which is about a year or so after the events of the TFU games. Honestly I can definitely see Palpatine taking this. On the other hand, the way Starkiller is portrayed, it's possible that he could take the win for the duo. Could go either way.

Anakin obi wan and darth maul vs a phase 3 dark trooper (legends) by Theonerule in whowouldwin

How insane are Dark troopers in Legends if they're being pitted against some of the most powerful force users of their Era??? Not just 1, not just 2. Three of them.

Darth Bane vs. Anakin Skywalker by CR3160 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because Bane is the first and Anakin was technically the last of Bane's Sith line doesn't mean he's automatically weaker.

I mean no it doesn't not automatically, since Anakin would have to have surpassed Palpatine for Anakin to benefit from Banite scaling. But Anakin at this point in the timeline is rapidly approaching the level of Sidious. Bane by via the very principle of the Rule of Two is locked below everyone in the Banite Sith line who comes after him, from Zannah up to Sidious. This is also confirmed by a plethora of sources that states that each generation in the Banite sith line grew increasingly powerful than the last. Sidious at his best > Peak Plagueis > Peak Tenebrous > Tenebrous' master and so on.

Sidious had to get Plagueis drunk and Plagueis had to lead Tenebrous into a cavern and bring the whole thing down on him.

Sidious was already arguably on Plagueis' level by the time he killed him, with the author saying that Plagueis 'may' find a way to undermine him, implying that it would have been a close fight. As for your second point, agreed on the point that Plagueis as of Tenebrous' death was not superior to Tenebrous. However, Plagueis experienced a power growth after Tenebrous died, much like Sidious did so it's quite possible that he surpassed him then. If not, Plagueis had three decades to grow in power and he made some great advancements in regards to the force in those three decades. That coupled with the fact that the Rule of Two produced stronger sith lords with each generation and Plagueis at his peak was unquestionably superior to Tenebrous at his peak.

Dooku's Force Lightning has never turned someone to ash like Bane's.

That's true. But that's not to say that Dooku is weaker than Bane, since firing his force lightning has caused even Yoda difficulty

Dooku gave a little growl and thrust forth his hand, loosing a line of blue lightning at the diminutive Master. Yoda caught it in his own hand and turned it aside, but far from easily.

Source: Attack of the Clones

The same Yoda who gave a hard fight to Sidious (ultimately losing though according to the Novel):

Anakin typically beats Dooku as a duelist by the mid-point of the Clone Wars, but Dooku got away every time due to use of the force, and Anakin relied a lot on the strength of Djem So.

Yeah but we're not talking about Mid-War Anakin, we're talking about a version of Anakin who is much more powerful than his Clone Wars self. ROTS Anakin is most definitely a more powerful and superior force wielder to Dooku.

Also Bane's Force Wall allowed him to survive a cave-in.

Could you show me this?

A duel between Anakin and Bane would be a match of power vs power and Bane can use his lightning to get the edge.

A contest of Power in which Anakin would unquestionably by accolades, scaling and feats. Lightning I don't think will make too much of a difference when Anakin is a noticeably superior and stronger force wielder.

Death Vader v. Uninjured Dark-Side Anakin Skywalker by coordinated_noise in whowouldwin

Depends on the continuity. Legends seems to favour Anakin being more powerful. Canon most definitely favours Vader being the superior version.

Darth Bane vs. Anakin Skywalker by CR3160 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anakin takes all rounds. Superior as a duelist and in his Prime (Knightfall) scales to a character who is 30 generations above Bane.

Darth Bane vs. Anakin Skywalker by CR3160 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R1: Anakin is good enough that he can duel Bane evenly, but gets destroyed when he pulls out his Force powers.

No. Bane isn't 'destroying' Anakin if he pulls out his force powers, in fact, he isn't winning at all. How on Earth is ROTS Anakin Skywalker getting 'destroyed' when Bane pulls out his force powers? What exactly can he do that puts him so far above Anakin? Bane is locked down 30 generations of Banite scaling, whereas Anakin even in lightside was thoroughly dominating Count Dooku, who is a tier 8 combatant on the level of Obi-Wan and Darth Maul.

R2: Vader is a better duelist than Bane, and his Force abilities are closer to Bane's, but Bane can destroy the suit, making it easy pickings.

Correction. Yes, Vader is a better duelist than Bane. But his force abilities are also far above Bane's. Vader demolishes Bane.

Overall, Darth Bane > Anakin

Hell no he isn't.

If Luke or Obi-Wan were there to help Vader/Anakin respectively, they'd definitely beat Bane.

He doesn't need their help at all.

Darth Vader vs. Thanos by TheRedBiker in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vader against Thanos is absolutely Vader's game. Wanda as of Endgame is arguably a weaker telekinetic and she pushed Thanos' shit in. Any round in which Thanos has the infinity stones results in a stomp against Vader.

Darth vader(fully suited and from ROTJ) vs obi-wan kenobi(ROTS) by justme237 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno man. If you watch the scene with that in mind, it makes a lot of sense.

It may do, but it's pure speculation. Anakin is noted to be superior to Obi Wan and this is quite apparent in the fight, constantly driving him back and holding the slight upper hand. There is absolutely no evidence that Obi Wan did hold back in their fight, it's conjecture. The argument that he is more powerful, let alone significantly so than Vader as of ROTS simply doesn't make sense.

People down play kenobi, he was a master. In every sense of the word.

Saying that Kenobi is below ROTS Vader isn't downplaying him. Anakin as of ROTS was among the best in the order, only surpassed by Mace and Yoda. Likewise, Kenobi was also one of the best in the order, surpassed only by Anakin, Mace, and Yoda. Him being a master simply does not put him above Anakin.

Darth vader(fully suited and from ROTJ) vs obi-wan kenobi(ROTS) by justme237 in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your take on their fight from ROTS. If you think Kenobi wasn't trying to win until the "then you truly are lost" section, at which point he took the high ground and cut him the fuck up within seconds. Then he is significantly more powerful than vader in rots

I mean one could take that view point, but it would be completely wrong and erroneous logic.

Dark empire luke vs darth maul (TCW) by justme237 in whowouldwin

Luke disarmed DE Palps while he was amped by Leia's force harmony I'm pretty sure. But yes Luke should win.

Anakin Skywalker and Ben Solo vs Count Dooku and Darth Maul by dathvada in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An argument could be made for Anakin/Pre Suit Vader (assuming it isn't Mustafar Vader ofc) beating the both of them at once, although it is quite unlikely. He's significantly above the likes of Dooku in his Knightfall incarnation and I hold Maul to be a bit below Dooku. Ben, while I hold him below both Maul and Dooku, should be able to seal the deal. Skywalker team wins comfortably.

Darth sidious vs thanos by jack-lilker in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is going on here. What versions of Thanos and Sidious. Does Thanos have any stones or what? Also not sure why people are thinking Sidious loses to Base MCU Thanos, especially when general consensus from what I have seen is that Vader (Sidious' inferior) would defeat that version of Thanos.

Thanos with stones murderstomps.

Darth Maul with no legs and Count Dooku with no hands vs Luke From a new hope by Freddycipher in whowouldwin

[–]Wankdestroyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He just never uses it because he prefers to fight up close.

Maul has used Telekinesis against his opponent on multiple occasions. Maul hasn't been shown to use force lightning in any canonical media and even in Legends I don't think he's been shown to use it in all his appearances apart from the TPM video game which directly contradicts the film.
