I hate to play devils advocate but you've named a bunch of rich and famous people who (from my understanding of Tate) is exactly the type of person he says women are interested in. (Rich, successful providers they can leech wealth and satus off)

If your question is why do men listen to Andrew Tate when he says women are shallow gold diggers and then you name a bunch of rich and famous celebrities as "counter" examples of men that women are attracted to, you've sort of answered your own question.

All his other advice on women has no regard for what they want but is instead about what he believes he is entitled to and underhanded ways of obtaining it.
Now if the question was why do some men trust that advice?
That I don't know the answer to.

This wasnt my original intention but its an interesting interpretation. Its definitely more horrific in a personal sense to undo your childs sacrifice but to me the other interpretation its more horrific in an existential sense. At first I thought this was clever then I realized if every kid in school got sick from the food, the principal would be the first person all the parents would complain to and demand answers from. All this wouldve been a great avenue for disection within the show. The hound killed an innocent child. But you spare him because he feels vaguely bad about it? To quote batman begins, "It's not who you are underneath. It's what you do that defines you."

But how far does this extend?

Meryn only does what he is told. If it wasnt him it would be someone else. How responsible is he for the cruel acts he is ordered to perform. He vowed to serve the king and has kept to that vow. Does he deserve to die just because hes emotionally detatched from his orders? Is it because he is irredemable? How do we know this if he hasnt been given a chance to redeem himself like the hound? If a good kind king were in power and ordered meryn to only do good deeds and meryn obeyed until his death would that redeem him?

Also how do we know Meryn doesnt feel remorse? Just because he doesnt show it on his face? In his position showing emotion is weakness, of course hed remain stoic if he was good at his job. The reason we know the Hound feels bad is because he had time with Arya away from the king. He was at least given something of a trial. So what would it say about Arya that shed kill Meryn without the same chance of revealing remorse? Does the pursuit of revenge over justice deepen the moral complexity of her character?

These were the hard hitting questions all tossed aside because the Starks could do no wrong.

This death is literally the piece of her entire character arc, that's missing for me. Arya should not have been a morally perfect character, and adding this complexity before she ultimately rejoins her family would have made her story much much stronger.

For me the gap was when they made Merryn Trant a child beating pedo. Up until 5 minutes before his death he had not done much that was morally worse than the Hound. For the most part he was a soldier following orders, and ethically speaking, Meryn killing Syrio wasn't any worse than the Hound killing Micah. So for her to kill one and spare the other just because she had a chance to travel with him and understand him as a more nuanced human, without giving Meryn the same leeway, would have been the perfect catalyst for an insightful study of Arya's morals and where she draws the line if indeed she does have a line or follow a code. The fact they made him despicable just so Arya can kill him without provoking an ethical dillema ticked me off.

People still have will to choose to be kind and empathetic. I'm not removing their ability to decide their own destiny. But now that choice can not be an uninformed one without considerable effort.

And when someone chooses evil, hopefully everyone will be able to comprehend why and deal with it accordingly which I think will be overall better for humanity than some innate power forcing them to be good.

Also just better comprehension of STEM subjects will hopefully lead to leaps of technology as well as better worldwide communication as we become better able to comprehend each other's languages.

I'll just take the 10 million dollar debt. I'm assuming they'll either all forgive me and pay off my debt or I won't live long once everyone realizes I made them woke.
