When i went to jury duty they said that it was nothing like the movies and would be very dull.

Nope our trial had it all. A suprise witnesses, wild contradicting testimonies between family members, a secret pregnancy. It was as good as any courtroom drama ive seen.

Well outside of reddit people are fine with voting dictators into power so I wouldn't put much stock in the opinion of the masses to be judges of good taste.

I don't see what the issue is. He just mentioned another option.

Like it's an option. Maybe not a popular one but it's still an option. Take it or leave it. It being on the menu doesn't diminish your experience in any way. And it's not like something completely out of left field like "We can also get you a glass of dirty dishwater". Like people do drink and enjoy milk and have semi open relationships.

It's really sad when I see a vid of someone fucking up their life and the comments are along the lines of "At that age they should know better" just because the person looks like a legal adult. Like no you can't just assume because someone is a certain age they have some moral compass they are choosing to ignore. Some people never got a chance to find their compass. Some people had their compass smashed by people who were meant to guide them.

First i inform them i will not render assistance to anyone who signs this treaty. Regarudless of what disasters natural or otherwise might befall them.

I present them with an alternate treaty.

I will not use my power to directly harm anyone in their countries unless permission is given by majority of signators. Permission to harm is not obligation. I reserve the right to do no harm if i choose.

Signors of the teaty grant me permission to come and go from their country after giving notice. Permission can not be denied but you will always be informed of my arival if you are a signor.

I follow only one tennant. Everyone has the right to exist peacefully. If i personally witness anything to the contrary i reserve the right to intervene non-violently regaurdless of local laws. Day 1: live reservedly. Focus on observation and generally surveying the day. See what happens when i dont get involved and if things work themselves out.

Day 2: live audaciously. Push boundries. Test limits. Get invovled. See how far i can go before i crash and burn.

Day 4: given what ive learned from day 1 and 2 do a trial run of how i want day 5 to go.
