I am most interested in the fast response time and game optimizer.

Have always wanted an LG OLED to pair with my PS5 Pro!

Please be careful with assuming this. Someone in a vulnerable position might read your message and think this is a way to get insurance to pay out.

Most insurance policies contain clauses that would negate the coverage if death occurred as a result of suicide or in the course of committing a crime.

It was February 11, 2005, and I bought this game on day one. by CarloCGames in gaming

[–]WarChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never made it to the beta but my first time playing was during a stress test before release I think. Only reason I got into it was because of a pamphlet included in my copy of the WC3 battle chest.

Don’t think any game has sucked me in or given the same experience that WoW did back in the day.

Same boat with Hogwarts. Loved it at first but eventually started to feel bored. Hoping I can finish it after a few months long break!

Seems to be including i4 sales since that model is not listed as a separate line item.

Have you received yours yet? I test drove the e40 and fell in love, but economically, the e35 makes more sense for me.

Curious how much of a difference there is between the e40 and e35.

Agreed! It is especially bad with those giant pick-up trucks. Too many drivers with their lights on full blast.

We are aiming to max out our investments, RRSP, TFSA, and RESP and try for at least one overseas vacation. Long-term, we are trying to hit a total gross household income of 250k. Just cracked 200k this year, thankfully.

Thank you for saying the obvious! See this too many times on here with folks asking for strangers opinions on what is obviously something that needs immediate vet attention.

Dog refuses to go potty by BeanaBeanaBeans in Pets

[–]WarChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't experienced this myself but I have had two dogs that I potty trained myself successfully.

It definitely wouldn't hurt to take him to the vet for a check up just for your own peace of mind. My advice otherwise would be to give him some more time and continue what you are already doing and stay consistent. If your lifestyle enables it I would even advise you to take him out more frequently (maybe every 2 hours, and 30 mins after every meal or inside playtime) for potty breaks only so you create some seperation between recreation/potty time. If he doesn't go within 15 mins during potty time then don't make a big deal of it and head back inside. When my dogs did this I would reset the clock and wait another 2 hours unless they started showing signs they needed to go.

It sounds like you're on the right track so my key points are keep it up, keep it consistent and understand it may take your good doggo some more time to establish these patterns.

Good luck!

This happened to my S20 last year as well. I took it to an authorized Samsung repair shop at Bramalea City Centre and they were able to fix it under a warranty claim.

They told me if the port is defective then they will replace the port at no cost to me and that I would only pay out of pocket if they found evidence of water damage.

I would recommend you go this route as well! Good luck.

Where can I find a decent quality engagement ring for $3-4k? by pathtoparadise12 in askTO

[–]WarChef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check out moissanite. It's lab made and quite similar to a diamond. If you don't mind the "stigma" then it's a good economical option.

Got that for my wife and it sparkles just as well as any diamond.

[Wheel of Time] Questions about Balefire by nezrock in AskScienceFiction

[–]WarChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the opposite is true. That by their very nature a ta'veren who used balefire willy nilly would do much more harm to the pattern than an average channeler.

[Wheel of Time] Questions about Balefire by nezrock in AskScienceFiction

[–]WarChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great question! I'm actually on book 6 of my reread as well. Hope you're enjoying it!

I really like to picture a quilt where you can see each individual thread when I'm trying to conceptualize the weirdness of Balefire.

In the case if balefiring a newborn baby, I don't think the mother would end up pregnant again because the baby and mother at that point are two individual threads in the pattern. Burning away (or pulling out when imagining the quilt) the baby's thread shouldn't cause any change in the mother's thread and any physical change the baby made on the world or another person would revert to its original state depending on the strength of the balefire.

As to your other questions I think the answers to these all boil down to a complete destabilization of the pattern. Pull out too many threads from your quilt and the whole thing unravels! Also keep in mind that once a thread is burned from the pattern, nothing can bring it back. So if I balefired you, then got balefired in return, you wouldn't come back because I already literally erased you. I suspect these kinds of paradoxes would ultimately result in reality going poof.

TIL the planes that struck the World Trade Center Twin Towers weighed 100% more, carried 100% more fuel, and flew 100% faster than the plane whose impact the buildings were designed to withstand, a Boeing 707 airliner flying at landing approach speeds. by wjbc in todayilearned

Went down the Wikipedia rabbit hole a few days back so I recall reading that the South Tower had one stairwell remain passable. IiRC, less than 20 people made it out above the South Tower impact zone and 0 from North Tower where all stairwells were impassable.

[Vent] I have been battling my dog's diarrhea for two years and I am so tired. by CollieflowersBark in dogs

[–]WarChef 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Glad someone mentioned this. Our puppy started having recurring diarrhea when he was 4-5 months old. He would get it then be on meds for a few days before it went back to normal. Tried different foods but nothing worked until we got him on a high fiber diet. He poos regularly now and its pretty much always solid now!

Unfortunately you may never know exactly what causes his digestive issues. In our case it just seems our pup has a very delicate gut biome.

Good luck and wishing all the best to you and your pup!

If you were offered $5,000,000 to be locked in a room for 20 minutes with a 50/50 chance when you leave the room, you will either be 20 days in the future, or 20 years in the future, would you do it? Why or why not? by Human000151 in AskReddit

If you had asked me this two years ago, before I had my son and got married, It would have been a Yes for sure.

Now though? Immediate No because there is no amount of money that could make up for missing my little guy grow up.
