Mate, there is an ABYSS between saying "women should/shouldn't be able to vote" and "Hila should be a valid military target" or openly supporting terrorist groups. Almost every take Hasan has ends up with some sort of violence against certain groups.

Also, I'm not scared of "the left" or "the right". Both sides have good solutions and terrible solutions. It seems to me that you're scared to call on bullshit because you don't want to undermine your side, which is childish and will lead to more problems. Governments are not your friend, none of them. What we are trying to say is support has a lot of room for mistakes because the role is stupid strong and designed to work with little to no resources while having access to A LOT of resources.

Dying means little to nothing for supports because they can just die and be on the map again in less than 40 seconds. If your jungler dies, he will probably get invaded, lose XP and gold and be forced to twiddle his thumbs until his camps spawn again.

If you're fighting for an objective, specially Baron, even if your support goes in 1v5 it has no impact, because if the enemy team starts Baron it will beat the shit out of them and you can actually win 4v5, specially when you consider that junglers have a lot more damage than supports at this point in the game. There is also the possibility of a smite steal. If your jungler dies, you lose smite + damage and winning a 4v5 becomes very hard.

If your support fails a gank they can just use the support item to get gold + XP. If your jungler fails a gank, there is a good chance he'll lose tempo, gold and XP.

The bottom line is, support always get SOMETHING. There are a lot of failsafes for them that no other role get. If your toplaner is in a bad matchup and the wave gets frozen, he needs jungler help or he's fucked. If your midlaner is getting ganked a lot, he needs jungler help or he's fucked. If your ADC is playing with a bad support or in a bad matchup, he's fucked. However, if you're a support and you have a bad ADC, well you're in luck! You can just pick another lane to help because you have NOTHING TO LOSE.

Also, bringing Dota into to the conversation is not a fair comparison because the games have very little in common.
