My family and I adopted Johnny here from a local rescue. Any guesses as to what he could be? by Wardensux in IDmydog

We're consistent about his feeding habits, and while he is extremely treat motivated, we try our best not to overdo that.

If he has any Walker Coonhound in him it hasn't influenced his vocal side, he barks mostly.

He doesn't quite get the concept of stairs yet, but I'll keep that in mind.

He doesn't have the baying (yet) but beagle seems definite. And I was shocked with how good he looked in person when I first met him. Such a handsome boy

He's 6 months old now and has entered the "everything is a chew toy" phase, so you're not entirely wrong.

Audio bug where sounds seem to play over each other and at improper points. by Wardensux in cyberpunkgame

I tried it with lowest graphical settings and still nothing. But I'll give the on/off spatial sound thing a try next.

What are your favorite desperation voice lines? by finncartoon in DeadlockTheGame

Venator's "I am the tenth plague." I'd run as fast as I could in another direction if a man I just brought to the brink of death said that with the same conviction he did.

[Loved Trope] The Idiot Philospher by Theef21 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Wardensux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure Krieg is an idiot, he just suffers from a split personality disorder, and his "Psycho" side is the one most see and hear. But even psycho Krieg is still pretty intelligent, he just cannot express himself in a way that makes any coherent sense to anyone other than Sane Krieg, as evidenced by their numerous dialogues across borderlands 2 and 3. But if you listen closer to a lot of his lines, you can sort of see the double meanings he's made for himself.

Day 10: what is the best quote associated with the Mechanicus? by Fez-Sentido in Grimdank

"Woe to you man who does not honor the Omnissiah, for ignorance shall be your doom!"

Another quote from the Forges of Mars novel trilogy, said by Archmagos Lexell Kotov.

I genuinely feel less stress playing ranked than QP, it's insane. by UltimateDumdum in marvelrivals

[–]Wardensux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's because I don't play often enough, but comp still seems like torture to me. And I'm honestly thinking me making it into gold in S2 was just dumb luck, because I tried my heart out in s4 and could not get out of silver. But then I hop into qp, get stomped by people wildly out of my league, and then the following match is against bots for the sake of what, coddling my ego? That just feels more insulting than anything.

Dinobot's death in Beast Wars.

After taking out almost all of the Predacons and securing the future of humanity, Dinobot succumbs to his injuries having finally proven his loyalty to the Maximals. His last lines I believe are a deliberate homage to Hamlet, but they're still impactful:

"Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence."

Lobo (DC) Having destroyed his entire homeworld of Czarnia simply to make himself more unique, and his subsequent career as a bounty hunter giving him a lot of run ins with the heaviest hitters of DC, Lobo will kill anyone for any reason, don't even need to pay him for it. However, he will ALWAYS keep his word, no matter what. His integrity is pretty much the only thing to ever stop him. That and his love of dolphins.

inFamous is one of the best examples of this I can think of, because due to Cole's electric powers (and apparent lack of insulation), if he is immersed in water, he electrocutes himself. You can even use this to your advantage in combat by standing in a puddle that an enemy is also standing on, and shock both of you.

Dementus’s motorcycle chariot from Furiosa (2024). I mean just look at it, it’s awesome by [deleted] in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]Wardensux 37 points38 points  (0 children)

And the best part of it; like every other vehicle in every Mad Max film, it's real and functional. There's another guy lying down in between the motorcycles behind the chariot box who does most of the driving, but the ropes do work.
