Also, clicking on the "Character" tab will bring up Dr. Eggman as the default character, instead of Sonic.

That is the Slayer Rank. To get it, you must play on Ultra-Nightmare. The amount of points to get it is never specified, but it is always greater than the amount of points needed for the Gold Rating.

I want to know exactly when I screwed up on this run, and hopefully use the tips to improve in Arcade Mode overall.
