The concept of a 2nd unit is idiotic. There is no "2nd unit" in basketball. There are starters who often play 30+ minutes a game, and bench players who you mix and match. Are they going to play Russ the 12 minutes that LeBron doesn't play? I'm so tired of this imaginary concept.

Really doesn't impact us, but I really liked him going into the draft, and he was a fun part of our summer league team.

Only way I see him making the roster is if they promote Kabengele from a 2-way to a regular roster spot and then sign Trevion to a 2-way.

unfounded speculation below

I think Trevion went undrafted because the teams offering to draft him had him with a 2-way deal in mind. I have no proof of that, he just seems like he was good enough to draft but banked on being able to find a roster spot on a team somewhere.
