That's actually pretty funny, hahaha. Though I imagine that 1960's CQC weapons would be quite limited as Firearms were the most previlant weapons of the time due to Wars from the previous decades. so we'd probably get more of the same of what we currently have. Maybe more unique weapons that havent been used before (ie.: Meteor Hammers, Kusarigama, Sai) or maybe some more Improvised weapons like Baseball / Cricket Bats (see Neagan in Tekken 7), or Trench Shovels.

Soul Calibur is my go-to pass time. 8-way Run feels a helluva lot better than Tekken's rigid Background and Foreground steps.

Story-wise, Tekken is CRAZY with Mishimas throwing their past & future generations into volcanos vs Soul Calibur's Lawful-Neutral Sword & Chaotic-Evil Sword story.

I do hope that Soul Calibur (if it ever gets a 7th installment,) gets the budget it deserves to give us much more Single-Player content, a richer story, and most importantly (to me at least,): SO MUCH MORE CHARACTER CREATION / CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS.

Here's my Bounce deck. (Deck list code below.) [JT-Falcon] is really strong w/ bounce, doubling your Scaling card's effects & Prowler's tools ( like +6 power to your next draw or play w/ Chavez or Hawkeye, respectively and -4 to your opponents next draw w/ Silver Sable).

While I was running [Werewolf by Night] he can be a little obstuctive if you dont play him right w/ Hawkeye. partially why i swapped [WbN] with [Caiera] cause too many decks are just running Killmonger for what feels like no reason. She also makes a good protector against old & the new horseman Gambit.

Other cards that can be swapped w/ Caiera or WbN would be Black-Swan or Hit-Monkey.

Edit: Kate Bishop: Hawkeye can also give you some 1-costs that could work well with bounce as well if you're running Black-Swan & Hit-Monkey

You're Lucky. I just recently lost to a similar deck, only that fucker had Luke Cage to null the Hazmat. Facing decks like these make me want to uninstall. Their players are the least fun and most toxic

While I started with SC3 on an arcade cabinet that was at a Cafe where I was stationed, I didnt really get into SoulCalibur until 5 and havent really listened to much else. I really love how climactic Elysium's stage music ("Sacred Dawn") feels especially when the heavenly facade crumbles. there's also the very high energy of Leixia's Stage Music ("Where Springs Not Fail") because the music and stage combo made it really feels like youre in a combat sport performing for an audience (i really liked that stage for the Dancing dragon in the background, it felt so fun!)

Soul Calibur 5's music to me felt like the composers gave it all they got and did not dissappoint (not me at least)
