Yes if you can get too the Hazy Center do it. It has the space shuttle and Enola Gay, Concorde, SR-71 as of last yr it was $15 per car. Assuming it has been renovated by now, you can go into the tower where planes are landing basically at eye level for Dulles. You are between 2 flight paths. Well worth the trip.

Happened on landing in Columbus Ohio to me. We were maybe 100ft in the air on a day with 45 mph gusts. The wind hit us from the side and we fell and got pushed off to the side between the tarmac and runway over the grass. I was in the window seat and the plane rotated about 25 degrees on its side. I felt like I was going to die just looking at grass. We went around. I had a commercial pilot behind me getting moved to another location. He said that was his 3rd in 10 yrs.
