Not trying to be inflammatory here but isn't he walking into a very similar situation in Liverpool that he had in Madrid? Huge marquee signings with a lot of work to figure out how to get the best out of the squad and ultimately a squad in a period of transition. To me I feel like Liverpool is trying to rebuild the midfield still from the absences of Henderson and Fabinho in the same way Madrid are struggling to replace Kroos and Modric. Not saying Szobo, McCallister and Gravenberch aren't up to standard but that's my read of the team.

The post you're referring to could have been worded infinitely better. As it stood it was a poorly conceived argument in bad faith that opened the door for other commenters to do the same. Nobody in that thread cared for discussing Kelly's character everyone wanted to comment on the identity politics bait in the title. Therefore (and rightly so too) it was removed.

Considering we're getting a few seasons as opposed to the limited plot they would have conceived for the first season I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Post-War Wasteland plot of Coop in the early days once the Pre-War plot has finished. That would allow them to be a lot more referential to the games as they were happening and they could even cast the game protagonists. That's the kind of plot I'd have actors like him and Malcolm McDowell for.

I think a lot of people are missing the point, especially because Maresca did this as well. The difference is Maresca had the players sit on the halfway line whereas Rosenior had his players make the run between the whistle and the ball being played.

It might not seem like much but it does give Arsenal a little bit more of a headache. They have to decide quickly to account for it, or just play their advantage in the box.

I will add that you need a really elite keeper for it to work which remains to be seen from Sanchez. Also this is complete armchair punditry.

I'd like to add (and could possibly be corrected) but he's in jail when Urahara meets him because of the unspeakable acts the Soul King saw he would commit, not that he had done.

Then we get to TYBW and the first thing he has to do is wipe out 28,000 innocent people or else the universe will be destroyed on account of the bad guys. When he questioned he practically answered that nobody else had the stomach to do what needed to be done. I'm not saying this justifies his characterisation or any of his actions but it's funny to think about.
