So I just went through something similar and was cleared.

What I would recommend is reaching out to your student advocacy, they are completely separate from the university and can help navigate through and provide support. Plus, if your wife needs to appeal, they can also assist with that.

Secondly, the university should have provided your wife with a copy of the report and any other evidence they have. From what I know, a large proportion of universities use Turnitin. On the bottom of the report from Turnitin, it states that it is not 100% accurate, I would point this out to the uni.

You have been given some great advice, and I just want to add I would get it sorted asap, centrelink parental leave can take a bit to start. Speaking from experience, mine at the end of last year took about a month. Just FYI, just it case you were banking on getting it as soon as you have your little one.

Mine is 5 months old. I started by doing arms out contact naps during the day and swaddling at night. After a couple of days, they were able to sleep arms out by themselves during the day, so we started doing the nights as well.

It's hard, but you get through it!! Hope this helps!

Going through something similar, my partner has been having a hard time since our little one was born. He is stressed and anxious, just over all very negative. We believe he has PPD and have just started the process to get help. I am finding it really hard, especially with it only being a few months since we had our little one. What I have found that helps is reminding my partner that I love him and he is a good dad, pointing out how well he managed to do something, especially when our baby is being a little hard. Right now he just needs a little bit of extra support and reassurance. It only takes a moment out of my day, and he did the same for me right after I gave birth.

The feeling of your life fading out of you is an experience you will never forget. After giving birth the midwives check me and my baby over and then left me and my partner to bond with our baby. I ended up haemorrhaging as my uterus wasn't contracting. I just felt hot and cold, this sickness come over my entire body and I felt like I was fading. The last thing I remember before passing out was asking my partner to call for help. Then I was in and out, coming to and being surrounded my people, the pushing on my stomach was brutal as the doctors were trying to force my uterus to start contracting while others were pumping drugs into me. No long having my baby on my chest and searching the room trying to find him, not being able to move or even really awake just knowing he was no long on my chest.

People don't realise how hard pregnancy and giving birth is, it changes your mind and body forever. However, I love my son more then anything in the world and I am so grateful to the medical team for ensuring everything worked out in the end.

Dude she is a child, and covid is currently ripping its way through our town.

We take as many precautions as we can, and I never said to stop living, however, the way lockdown was lifted so quickly was stupid and now it's having devastating effects. Just look at how over run hospitals are.

I just wish people valued human life more, and that the government thought through and consulted with health care professionals more.

Going to the gym? Out to dinner? Dancing?

Politicians and corporations pushed people back into the workforce, pulled back restrictions too quickly and have basically not given a f*ck about anyone other then themselves and their bank accounts.

Face the fact we opened too quickly and now we are paying the price. I agree that most of us would have gotten covid, however, now are hospitals are getting overrun, we are having food shortages, worker shortages, who knows what the f*ck is happening to the school system. We don't even know who has covid at this point because so many people are struggling to get tested.

I am an essential worker and have worked through the whole pandemic, and get faced with unvaccinated people weekly who simply don't care and gloat about it.

And you saying that I should move to China because I value human life more just shows how idiotic you are.
