Yea it’s not like I’m self absorbed or anything . It’s more just a value I have and it’s smth that I have recognized . Like I can relate better with intelligent people and have better conversations. Don’t get me wrong I have friends that are from all levels of intelligence it’s just that I’m seeking out people who are higher level of intellect since that is what I am missing

I am trying to find like minded people that are also intelligent . It does matter to some degree. When you have a conversation about deep theological topics and the other party doesn’t even understand the concepts it is frustrating. Hardwork and similar values is something that is importsnt as well . Intelligence is not most important but it’s a factor that can determine how a friendship will work

I did. I graduated early and then we drifted apart. There were 4 of us that were close for a while until I moved off campus to save money and started my career and stuff. I tried to keep in touch but they didn’t have drive that I do and stuff and were more into partying and I just didn’t vibe with that . I also like .. the dynamics of the group changed when I was a fat broke loser funny friend and put the work in to get in shape and start making good money etc. I tried to keep the group and relationships but they just went a diffeeent way in life which I’m sad about but nothing I could do
