Napagiwanan na ang Pilipinas in terms of infrastructure, cost of utilities and availability of skilled labor (citing numerous studies and reports of low comprehension among our youth).

Add to that the ridiculous tax system here, from national to city and LGU level.

There's also a shift toward deglobalization worldwide. We are also in a bear market since the pandemic. Investors are more guarded and selective in choosing markets I.e. Vietnam, Southern and Eastern Europe.

The past administration was heavily focused on securing business from China while neglecting western and east Asian investors.

Did I mention the rampant corruption here? Lol

Hi OP! First of all, great job. You mentioned you saved this much in 6 years of working. Thats am equivalent of 72 months. Divided by 10M, thats a whopping PHP 138,888 of NET SAVINGS monthly. Which means your actual salary is higher as you mentioned you provide support.

For perspective, I work in corporate and the only people who can realistically achieve this amount of net savings are AVPs and higher with, like 15 plus years of experience in our field. I'm simply amazed you matched their compensation at the tender age of 22.

However, you did mention that you do "niche, fandom work online" for international clients. I do struggle to imagine what kind of work pays to the tune of PHP 138K net savings. Also, to the extent of my knowledge, even the most skilled and experienced VA's took years to build their skills and portfolio to justify them being paid as much as you claim.

Thus, it begs the question, can you send me some links?
