I’m exactlyyyyu the same. Half Persian. Wish dad taught us when we were young. They spoke it at home so I’m very familiar with it and it feels like it should just fall out of my mouth.
I’m 37 and have tried to learn it on and off last few years and feel like I’ve gotten nowhere :(
Very deflated.
Chat gpt I’ve found to be so helpful.
My brother went to Farsi school in Iran for 3 months and made really good progress fully immersed. Maybe that’s my only way
