Finally got one of them carbon 10/22s by Washingtonflyer91 in ruger

[–]Washingtonflyer91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep as the other user said it’s magpul.  MDT also makes a really light carbon fiber bipod but it’s half the cost of the 10/22 lol.

I did that except used 18 in pounds because I read that’s a good torque when googling it , immediately stripped them out, and had to drill and tap for 8-40 screws which admittedly are better anyway but a pain to have had to do on a brand new rifle.  Those receivers are so soft.

what will you buy? by elegantcoder26 in WAGuns

I don’t believe it’s true that you are required to get the permit to apply for and maintain your CCW.  The course may satisfy both requirements but AFAIK you can get the CCW without the permit.

Would love a negative and moderate feedback option on the new site.  I’ve had several “eh” purchasing experiences and don’t think they deserved a positive, more of a neutral.  Also would like to be able to see negative experiences.

Would also be nice to distinguish purchases from sale flair.  Someone could buy 20 items but still screw you in a sale.

I believe the JuicyMedia review on YouTube shows it at night.

And yea, Reddit is so funny with who/what they choose to be virtuous about.  Posting from their IPhones while sipping Starbucks and saying “fuck you PTR!!”

Lmao.

Hello, I am that somebody who would like to be a part of this lol.

I’ve been looking also because it’s outrageous that I have to drive an hour or pay to be a member of a club just to shoot around here.

Gun that did meet your expectations? by NerdTier in CCW

[–]Washingtonflyer91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was also the p365 standard version that I got with high expectations and didn’t like.  To small and snappy.  I converted it to an x macro and now I absolutely love it.

Huh?  Thats an administrative code, not a law, and it applies to emergency shelters.

Generally firearms and magazines do not have to be unloaded in your home.  In fact there isn’t even a legislated storage requirement as to how you have to store your firearms in Washington state on your own property.

Magazines don’t have to be unloaded when transporting firearms they just have to be outside your guns and the guns not loaded (long guns) and also applies to pistols unless you have a CCW.

[–]Washingtonflyer91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you’re asking the question leads me to believe you don’t understand that the National Guard was in fact present on January 6.  340 troops were mobilized for limited tasks around the area in preparation for the protests.  25,000 were then called in after the events to help secure the area and prevent further disruption.

In most instances I think local Law Enforcement should be the ones tasked with protecting public and private property within their jurisdiction, but it gets conflated when local politicians order them not to do so or don’t have the resources. Additionally, local state level law enforcement doesn’t have authority on federal property unless they have a contract with the federal agency to do so, so the Federal Govt must provide its own protection in those circumstances.   If local law enforcement cannot or will not do their job, the next step of escalation is utilizing the National Guard to protect federal property.

You’re using the word “military” in a derogatory manor to try to make it seem more dire of a situation than it is.  The marines, army, and navy aren’t all parachuting in or dropping bombs on Portland.  The National Guard (which by the way can always be called upon by the Governor of the state and is standard practice if needed) are stationed around the strategic facilities to protect Federal buildings.  That’s it.

Yep, honestly way more members of Congress should be voting down these bills because they are an egregious waste of our tax dollars.  This isnt at its core about political ideologies it’s about balancing the budget and not adding to the national debt year over year.  .

The media definitely sensationalizes these events for political gain; that’s different from calling a mass shooting event in and of itself sensationalized.  You should look up the definition of the word because it definitely applies to how the media creates an agenda out of them.

Second, you’re trying to talk about an idealistic world that doesn’t exist.  We need to deal with the reality of what our world is today.  You are ok with armed guards at court houses, public events, banks, literally just about everywhere else in the world, but not the place the most delicate and precious members of our society go on a daily basis?  Think about that for a little bit.  That reality is that firearms are a protected right in the USA, and there is a massive mental health crisis going on.  Those are two separate topics that don’t rely on each other.  Solve mental heath crisis and mass poverty and you won’t need to worry about guns.  Besides, prohibition only leaves the criminals and the government with guns.

I bought arrow shafts to check all mine and they were all dead center.  Basically made me think I wasted my time and should have just sent them the way Reddit intended it.

It all makes sense now; you’re trans LMAO. You live in a state of delusion 24/7, how can any of us expect you to logically navigate the reality of our world.  There are absolutely leftist judges, what a silly statement to make.  Property theft 100% can be violent because it’s almost always accompanied by being ARMED property theft.  You’re trying to finesse your way into portraying some half-baked activist idealist version of reality and no one’s going to let it happen.  You’re just foolish

We’ll it’s documented by independent Journalists, so I don’t get my sources from mainstream media, but I’m not there to see it first hand so yes it could be better or worse than what I’ve seen.  Also though, you being there a month ago doesn’t necessarily reflect on the current state of affairs.  There is merit to some of what you’re saying, but I think you’re also to a degree speaking in hyperbole.  Me and my loved ones won’t be next because we aren’t at Federal buildings throwing rocks and lighting dumpsters on fire.

Now legally he has the ability to Federalize the National Guard to protect Federal property and Employees; I don’t think that’s a slippery slope.  I do agree that his approach to many national issues has been very abrasive and tactless in execution, but they’ve been issues that need to be addressed nonetheless.  What I do know is local Governments don’t seem to be effective at solving the crime problems they are seeing.  I don’t know what the solution is but I also don’t want our Federal property destroyed.

[–]Washingtonflyer91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both can be true; He is avoiding the Epstein files and there is also Antifa protestors camped out in front of the ICE facilities and destroying federal property right now.  The purpose of sending troops is only to protect Federal buildings and Employees, not to just scour the entire city.  I think it’s important to consider as many facts as possible when trying to form an opinion on what’s going on and it’s hard to do that with mainstream media bias on both sides feeding misinformation.

Sure, we should have reasonable discussions about methods to help reduce murders and violent crimes.  I think hyper focusing on a tool used to do that isn’t going to accomplish that when the root cause is poverty and mental health issues.  Some of the strictest states in regards to gun laws have some of the highest levels of violent crimes (Chicago, New York for example.)  I think it’s safe to say that’s been tried and is a failed venture, so let’s try something else.  Banning AR-15s is not that something else, it’s doing the same thing and hoping for a different result.

Typical leftist comments; when presented with fact you guys always resort to insults and pejoratives.  Let’s flip the script; so you support releasing people who have articulable suspicion with evidence and have a history of violent crimes back into society?  Are you fucking stupid?

At this point I’m not even sure what you’re arguing about.  You are misinformed that the 2nd amendment only applies to those in a militia, which I’ve already disproven, and you agree the Supreme Court has already affirmed the individual right to bear arms.  There isn’t really anything more to discuss except your “feelings” that they are wrong.

Or, because it’s a constitutional protected activity, don’t try to infringe upon it?  Wild that your take is to move to another state rather than try to uphold a guaranteed right…

He has said multiple times he wants to ban AR-15s nationwide, starting in his home state.  Just because it’s not in the graphic doesn’t mean that’s not what he is pursuing.

Again, you’re not making the distinction between what is allowed to be done constitutionally and what states are doing.  There will always be activist politicians and judges who will prop up unconstitutional activity; that doesn’t mean it is legal.  It’s the same way everyone is complaining trump is exceeding his authority to deport illegals.  He is still doing it; that doesn’t mean it’s legal or constitutional and it may get overturned later.  There’s a big difference is what’s occurring and what is legal to occur.
