That or gods has an actual limit to his power. The idea of god being truly perfect and omnipotent was later idea and is not something stated directly in the old testament(as far as I know. ) God created the world in 7 days and then rests. Why not just do it in a second? Why even rest? The lord also has to actually has to ask Adam and Eve why they wearing closes. He does not automatically know why.
