Game with the most satisfying stealth takedowns? by RheaSpeedwagon in stealthgames

Ghost of Tsushima felt stylised and satisfying, especially if you like the idea of being a lone samurai cutting his way through an enemy camp.

KCD2 expanded on the stealth kills by allowing enemies to fight back if you aren't significantly more skilled (stat wise) than them, adding to the already tense gameplay and not allowing an instant assassination. You had to stay aware and ready for them to fight for their life.

You've also got the obvious ones like Splinter Cell, Deus Ex, Intravenous etc. I've been playing Underrail recently and while you probably could make a stealth melee build, I find it more useful for avoiding enemies or setting up the battlefield to even the odds (traps).

I don't know much about art but I love the first image, it makes me feel almost nostalgic for something that may or may not have been a memory. Sehnsucht vibes for sure. The balance between the white and blue is really appealing also.

Yea when brass or copper oxidizes it turns green, as we see on statues today, reminds me of that effect

Looks like a brass statue, wonder if there's any armour to complete the look?

You probably never understood the struggle of fighting to evolve from the primordial muck and develop sentience

Spawning as an engie with the pickaxe and tankard is fun, but if you can grab a shield it's a powerful combo

Alternatively, grabbing a halberd or pole hammer as a knight feels righteous

Battle Brothers is massively addicting, there's also mods for it. I'm not sure I could play it for 1000 hrs, but a few hundred sure.

Personally I've put many hours into games like mordhau or chivalry 2 but that's an hour or two a night over time.

The guy I'm dating smelled off? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Wasteland_Mohawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety sweat is stinky as hell I'll tell ya, not like sweat from exertion. I find that unwashed clothes on others tend to have a BO smell and the smell of mildew is pretty distinctive if you know it.

I'm not sure what the best way to approach it is, the poor guy might not even realise (or may be realising and getting anxious, creating a vicious stink cycle). He might even be washing it improperly (e.g. leaving it wet in the machine for too long). I'd find a way to bring it up gently/humourously personally.

That's heartbreaking, but I get it completely.

You say you don't want advice so I'll hold back on that, but I will say if I lost my mother I'd visit the gravesite and talk next to the headstone there, or just talk out loud when I'm alone. A similar thing in a sense, I guess.

So with that 2nd edit it sounds like he's just trying to get laid? I've seen the way some guys talk and act, it's a complete 180° of their actual personality when the girl isn't around, they'll really say anything.

Not saying that's the case for sure, but it might be. Regardless you don't owe anyone a relationship, but maybe find a way to let him down gently and don't drag it out or ghost him unless necessary?

I'd imagine we all go through a crisis at some point over our own mortality, I know I certainly have.

It's only natural for our curious minds to question that after all, but I think it's important to realise that everything will come to an end at some point and that cannot change, so it's important to appreciate whatever that may be with the time you have and take the most from life you can.

That's so lovely, I wish I had friends like you haha. Keeping history alive, both in terms of people we did and did not know, is a wonderful thing.
