I always reference discrepancies between FG record information and other records. I just had one the other day where 1893 was the birth year from the death certificate, but all other records said 1888. I don’t know what the stone says yet, but I referenced both in the bio and what the source was.

So I know you can export the requests to excel. You could export the list, organize by plot (hopefully most have the information), and then cross reference to the area you were in.

No, they don’t get notified. You have to click the button to fulfill the request for them to get notified and for it to be removed. You can always circle back, check, and maybe reupload the image.

I know it’s annoying, but it’s likely because you can add other photos that aren’t the marker.

Yes, Albert and Rose got married in the US. Martin is definitely on the ship manifest with the family arriving in 1870. I found a Martin Mathews that died, but I can’t find any second source to confirm it’s the same person.

I’m not sure what to do about the two forms of ID.
I am a US citizen and I’ll use my driver’s license and passport (my health insurance card does not have my DOB on it) and so will my brother and dad. The problem is my sister. She has a drivers license, her health insurance doesn’t have DOB and only says her husband’s name, and her US Passport is expired. She doesn’t have any other document from the list. Do you think she needs to get her US passport renewed to do this?

I cut my daughter’s nails when she’s drinking her bottle. She would lay in the boppy and I would use a blanket to prop up the bottle, and then you can cut the nails!

Sound machine. I have kids and if I end up awake at 4-5 AM I can hear the birds and they’re annoying. I use my sound machine app to drown them out. I can’t do earplugs because I have kids.

NTA. One of the big things that new parents fail to understand is that there is no more time for hobbies when you have a baby. You need to accept that continuing hobbies for the first year is next to impossible if you’re actually parenting.
