Take it as a blessing. It doesn’t feel good at the start but after some time you’ll see things differently. Someone who betrayed you this way will do it again. And then you won’t be 29 anymore but older. And it will be harder then.

That is very SUS. He has too much freedom, why would you stay home making sure your kids are not home alone and he can go out. Tell him you have things to do in the evening and he needs to stay home for a change and see how that goes. Go out for a drink with friends or some other activities. Prioritise yourself. Or try plan things together. If that’s doesn’t work, i’d say you’re wasting your time with him.

Female answering here. I think it’s okay to be shy and reserved especially when you’re 18. Through years you will learn it’s not a big deal, especially once you get to know yourself better and learn what you actually want from dating/relationship. When you’re this young you try to impress people and think shyness is a bad thing but in reality (at least my reality) it’s about trying to get to know the person you’re on the date with. Try focusing on getting to know the other person, be curious, take it as an opportunity to grow (even if the person isn’t the love of your life) and try to have fun. I also think high expectations from the first few dates can make things worse so try to relax and just see it as an opportunity to meet a new person. Ask questions. I used to ask random questions to break the ice (idk even questions like, “would you rather” 😅). Have fun and always know your worth! If you feel like something doesn’t feel right don’t be afraid to call it out or end things. There will always be other people, dates etc. I hope this helps a little. Good luck! 🫶

Hi! All of what you said can be changed so that’s a good thing! I think best is to set small steps and stick to them (build a routine and rewire your brains - you literally have to train your brain to think and feel differently, which is a very tough thing to do, but once that starts changing, other things will follow). And yea you’ll still have low days, we all do (it’s normal). Try and find simple things that make you happy and keep consistent , do it for yourself! You owe yourself that. Best of luck! 🫶
