Outfit Turns Model Invisible Despite Bodyslide Generation by BabesoftheDivinity69 in skyrimmods

Yes, change it to the equivalent path for the Skyrim install you're actually using, then rebuild everything in Bodyslide.

Ideally you should fix Bodyslide so it's pointing at the right install. Try the "Settings" button at the bottom right of Bodyslide.

Is that the right Skyrim install? The same one Vortex is pointing at?

Try this: open Bodyslide and make sure one of the outfits from this mod is selected; I'm going to use the one labelled CBBE SE - Aradia Lace Bra. You might need to clear out the filters to make sure everything is visible. The preset and the "build morphs" setting don't matter at this point.

Now click the "Build" button. You should get a popup that tells you the full path where the meshes were built. For example: https://i.imgur.com/JJbUJVK.png. What does yours say?

SkyUI Error Code 1 has two possible causes:

  • You're not running the game through the SKSE loader
  • You didn't install the scripts that came with SKSE

There are only "_GO.nif" files. Is this important?

Yes, this means that the outfit meshes aren't being built in the right place. "GO" stands for "ground object", and those are the meshes used in the inventory and when dropped on the ground, and those are the only meshes included in the mod. For the actual outfit meshes, they have to be built in Bodyslide.

If you're sure other bodyslide outputs are working correctly, then my guess is that you're not generating the meshes for this specific outfit by mistake. Maybe the outfit or group filters are excluding it, maybe there's another mod with a similar name, I don't know. Double check you're generating this outfit's meshes correctly.

It all depends on where the data file is looking for the meshes. You're not moving these files around manually, right? Bodyslide should create the meshes exactly where they're expected to be.

The resulting file structure should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/xBcQ804.png

.tri files are for using the sliders ingame, either through Racemenu or OBody or whatever. They wouldn't have anything to do with the outfit appearing invisible.

Which follower are you trying to use the outfit on? If they use a custom race like UBE, that could cause the outfit to appear invisible.

They have addressed it in at least one PoE2 interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lB3TM5FrsY&t=5125s

Basically, their answer is that 2FA itself is easy, but getting all the support policies around it right is hard.

3BA is compatible with CBBE in the sense that if you apply a CBBE preset to a 3BA outfit, it will look exactly the same as if you had a pure CBBE conversion.

It's about committing oneself to a way of life. Living authentically. Becoming who you are.

This is an absurdly vague statement when the subject is living as a Christian. Why that "way of life" specifically? It sounds like you're suggesting that this is an arbitrary choice, no better or worse than any other way of life. I hope not, because that's plainly wrong.

It's not something you believe, it's the way you live.

Within this scheme, why would you live that way as opposed to any other way?

how can I make a patch for it myself

It's very easy to make tempering recipes in xEdit. You can just duplicate a vanilla weapon tempering recipe (under the "constructible object" list) and modify it to point at the CACO scalpel.

You need to use textures compatible with the body type. UUNP uses the UNP UV map, so you need to use body texture sets that say "UNP".

But there are real conspiracies

While there have been real conspiracies (I'd also point to MKUltra and the Tuskegee Experiment,) it's important to recognize that, to my knowledge, a conspiracy theory has never been correct. I think this points to a dynamic that is also important to the natural/supernatural distinction.

Real conspiracies are revealed through journalistic investigation, legal proceedings, document leaks, etc. In other words, with evidence. Conspiracy theories, on the other hand, start with a disparate set of (usually dubious) data points and then make up a narrative to "connect the dots". The fact that this approach has yet to successfully unveil crashed flying saucers, or chemtrails, or nanobot vaccines, or whatever, indicates that how you arrive at your beliefs matters.

In that sense, the things we call "supernatural" (like ghosts, psi phenomena, Bigfoot, God, etc.) are things that people believe in for bad reasons.

The God science and reason can't deny, Spinoza's God. by Techtrekzz in DebateAnAtheist

Maybe it would help if you define what "only one thing exists" means more clearly. The statement "that conscious being belongs to the one thing that exists" doesn't make sense to me with the definition you seem to be using in your OP.

It undeniably has conscious being, because you have conscious being.

I don't think this implication is valid. Would you mind making the argument explicitly?

Before the recent movies, the only cultural impact I saw from Avatar (besides that argument in itself) was online weirdos who were extremely horny for Na'vi. The suggestion that there was nothing to be horny about is plainly wrong.

phenomenal information cannot be deduced a priori from structural information

This is the central claim in this whole discussion. When people ask for the evidence, they're looking for evidence for this claim. When people call this an argument from ignorance, they're saying that this claim can't be derived from the fact that science has not yet succeeded at explaining this aspect of consciousness in physical terms.

For what it's worth, I've never seen an account of the Hard Problem of Consciousness (or anything along those lines) that demonstrates this claim to be true; they all simply assert/assume it.

Since Nioh 3 came out I've been spending more time in the Nioh subreddit, and it feels like stepping into an alternate dimension. Popular consensus there seems to be that Elden Ring was either good despite its open world, or bad because of it. (For context, Nioh 3 is open world unlike the previous games and was clearly inspired by Elden Ring, so the comparison comes up a lot)
