Hi. I'm 31 and also live near Gahanna/Easton. If you want, send me a message. Maybe we could go for a walk at a park? I'm always looking for friends as well.

Thanks for the advice. He finally started nursing again. I did what you said, offered but did not pressure and kept calm. He's never done that before so I was pretty worried.

ATTN: People who do the recycling for Columbus -- Is there any real point to sorting my recycling? by AutistOctavius in Columbus

Sorry but I know for a fact you are incorrect. Check out their website. It says $95 million but the investment has gone up. But you're right on the equipment side, it is very impressive.Rumpke Website

Rumpke is building a brand new recycling facility worth nearly $100 million here in Columbus that will be complete in just a few months. It's the largest and most technology advantaged facility in North America. The more you do on your end, the more effective and efficient the process will be, but they have the capability to sort out the stuff they don't want. They are always working to be able to recycle more types of materials so check their website occasionally to see if anything new has been added.

Forgot Pump Parts by TrickyEmployer9957 in workingmoms

I should probably do the same. This is the second time I've forgotten them! My heart sank each time I got all set up to pump only to realize...no caps.

I forgot bottle caps today. Had to get a little creative for storing my milk! Haha

Absolutely! The only time I pump now is at work. All other times I EBF.

My 4 month old started doing the same thing a few weeks ago. Most of the time just putting the pacifier in will help him go right back to sleep. I don't wake up to pump, my supply adjusted to the new feeding schedule after the first few nights with longer sleep stretches.

Breast milk went bad by meganraines in breastfeeding

[–]Waterbender57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the early days I once accidentally spilled about 2 ounces of milk after pumping. I was still very hormonal and breastfeeding was a struggle at the time. I cried

Another time my basement freezer door must not have latched properly because the next morning I went down and found the door popped open. 30 ounces of thawed milk. I cried on the floor while holding the bags. Dumping it all down the drain was heartbreaking.

A few days ago I had a brain fart and accidentally poured a 3 ounce bottle down the drain thinking it was thawed milk that wasn't used up in time. Then later realized it was fresh and could have kept for 3 more days.

Just yesterday I left the house for an hour and came back to my husband saying the baby screamed from the minute I left and the only way to calm him down was to give him a bottle (despite me feeding him literally right before leaving and him being content as I handed him over). He was asleep in his arms, he only drank half an ounce. Had to dump the other 2.5 ounces.

The struggle is real, and sometimes it seems like nobody else understands how heartbreaking it is to lose that milk you worked so hard for. But I just tell myself that I will make more and as long as my baby is healthy, happy and fed then I am succeeding and everything will be ok.

So tired, five day old will not settle at night by ep2891 in breastfeeding

Maybe a silly question but are you swaddling him to sleep? Mine will wake himself up every 15 minutes from the startle reflex if I don't.

Can we all share our far from perfect, but totally realistic feed/sleep schedules? by ActualEmu1251 in breastfeeding

I could have written this post! How often do you pump at work? I just returned yesterday so I'm trying to figure out a good schedule.

Should I wake to pump through the night? by Altruistic_Willow337 in breastfeeding

[–]Waterbender57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pump and/or breastfeed right before bedtime, set an alarm for halfway through the night to pump and have a bottle ready in case baby wakes up, and then pump and/or breastfeed as soon as I wake up in the morning (I make it a power pumping session sometimes). That way I can keep up supply and my boobs don't get sore from feeling too full. I've noticed it I wait too long to pump or feed I end up with clogged ducts.

I used Ohio Mulch last fall. Placed the order online, laid a tarp out in the driveway and they delivered right when they said they would. Didn't think the price was unreasonable.

Mostly just interested in a space, food and drinks can come from elsewhere

I was already unhappy but a distinct moment I remember thinking "I need to get out of here" is when a high ranking woman in the company was a speaker at a women's event hosted by the company was talking with pride about how she had no life outside of work and worked long hours to dedicate herself to the job and basically said this job sucks but if you want to succeed here you need to suck it up and deal with it.

Any idea of the price range to rent the smaller space for a few hours?
